Overview
Self Hosted Live Streaming and Media Server by Optick is a ready to launch private video and media server for AWS customers who want a faster path to live streaming, media hosting, and browser based server administration.
The stack includes Ant Media Server Community for live streaming workflows, RTMP ingest, WebRTC related testing, and streaming application development. It also includes Jellyfin for private media library playback and Cockpit for browser based server management. A built in Nginx landing page gives customers a simple public IP based front door with links to the included services.
This AMI is designed for first time AWS Marketplace users as well as technical users who want to avoid a manual installation process. First boot automation detects the assigned public IP address, regenerates the landing page, updates service guidance, creates first login notes, and starts the application stack automatically. Helper commands are included for viewing URLs, checking service status, reading logs, setting a Cockpit password, and reviewing optional domain based SSL and WebRTC guidance.
This build is suitable for private live streaming labs, media server pilots, video workflow testing, creator infrastructure, internal training media, development environments, and teams that want a self hosted streaming starting point on AWS. Public IP access is available for first launch and setup. A domain name with HTTPS is recommended for browser camera and microphone publishing workflows.
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges are applied for the deployment of the application and AMI support and compliance.
