Overview
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges are applied for the deployment of the application and AMI support and compliance. This AMI provides a fully pre configured, self hosted deployment of Chatwoot Community Edition on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, fronted by Nginx and backed by PostgreSQL. Its designed so that new users can launch, visit the instance URL, and complete the built in Finish Setup onboarding to create their own organization and admin account no manual server work required.
Out of the box, you get a modern customer support platform with a shared inbox, live chat widget, and multi channel messaging capabilities, installed and wired together for you.

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. Usage instructions
Wait until its state is running and Status Checks OK. Copy the instances Public IPv4 address. Open Chatwoot in Your Browser go to: http://your instance public ip You should see the Howdy, Welcome to Chatwoot Finish Setup page. Complete the Chatwoot Setup. To connect via SSH: ssh -i /path/to/your-key.pem ubuntu@<instance-public-ip> SSH username: ubuntu There is no default password; you must use the key pair you selected at launch.
