Edison oncloud is an innovative, template-based playout application that seeks to transform any live and online presentation or conference into an immersive experience through augmented reality and virtual environments, allowing users to enhance their speech and storytelling by using real-time 3D graphics and other visual aids. Users do not require any experience in graphics, video, image or 3D object creation, as the basis for their sessions can be a PPT of PDF presentation. With an extremely simplified bur powerful interface, and just by using a drag-and-drop operation, users can upload their presentations, along with any other asset that might be required, such as videos, images, 3D objects, etc. All elements are available with just one click and become AR elements in the scene. The presenter can be shot in a portable green screen and placed on the scene if desired, along with the rest of the presentation and additional elements, which are driven in real time by the presenter. Edison oncloud has been developed to substantially improve presentations and conferences, as it can use, in real-time, any PPT or PDF presentation in a virtual or augmented reality world, plus integrating images, videos and 3D objects in a virtual set that includes the presenter and the rest of the elements. So, Edison oncloud brings together a traditional presentation with high-end audio-visual elements, combining them with the presenter image in a virtual context. Because of that, Edison oncloud can create high-quality immersive presentations to be broadcasted live or streamed via the internet, with the advantage of a full real-time operation.
