Overview
This product provides Amazon Corretto 11 (OpenJDK 11) integrated with Amazon Linux 2023 and delivered as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) by ThinkCloud. The image includes a pre-configured, security-hardened Java 11 runtime and JDK environment for immediate deployment.
Amazon Corretto 11 is a production-ready distribution of OpenJDK with Java SE 11 compatibility. It includes the modular system, local variable type inference, the HTTP/2 client API, and modern garbage collectors.
The AMI is suitable for modern Java applications, Java 8 migrations, and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Micronaut.
Marketplace software charges cover seller-performed software and operating-system integration, preparation of the Java runtime and JDK configuration, application of the verified hardening baseline, repeatable image construction, and final AMI testing. Support and maintenance are supplementary services and are not the sole basis for the software charges.
