Overview
Knowledge graphs are key to both maximizing the power of data and enabling effective analytics. Ontotext's GraphDB database engine excels at delivering knowledge graphs, managing diverse facts and rich metadata using the Semantic Web standards. GraphDB Enterprise Edition gives you this with massive scalability, high availability across different time zones, and all the management tools of a modern cloud infrastructure.
By supporting all W3C RDF-related standards such as SPARQL, SHACL, RDFS, and multiple OWL profiles, GraphDB lets you take full advantage of semantic technology to build your knowledge graphs. In addition to the reasoning, inferencing, and data quality checking that implementation of these standards enables, GraphDB includes built-in text and data analytics that can extract even more meaning from your data to store as temporary or permanent additions in existing or new knowledge graphs.
Ontotext customers around the world use GraphDB for data integration, data enrichment, publishing, metadata management, and more. An ecosystem of more than 50 partners continue to use Ontotext technology to provide new services and applications to an even broader range of customers.
With GraphDB Enterprise Edition, you can get all these advantages with repositories holding up to a billion RDF triples, backed by a dedicated support team. GraphDB's web-based interface makes database administration easy, and its support for REST APIs such as RDF4J's lets large and small developers put the full power of GraphDB behind their own applications. The Bring Your Own License GraphDB offering gives you added flexibility in how and where you take advantage of these benefits on available local and cloud servers.
Find out why well-known organizations in financial services, healthcare, life sciences, publishing, manufacturing, government, and more are using GraphDB to build and get the most out of their knowledge graphs.
Highlights
- GraphDB is an efficient, enterprise-grade, scalable RDF graph database that supports all relevant W3C RDF and SPARQL standards. Key GraphDB Enterprise features include cluster support and integration with external high-performance full text search applications such as Lucene, Solr, and Elasticsearch and Kafka connectors for synchronizing changes.
- GraphDB streamlines the load and use of linked data cloud datasets with your own resources. GraphDB performs semantic inferencing at scale, letting users derive new knowledge from existing facts, and it handles massive loads, queries, and inferencing in real-time.

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Usage instructions can be found here https://graphdb.ontotext.com/documentation/10.7/aws-deployment.html
Note: The GraphDB Amazon Machine Image (AMI) does not include a data disk, which means data persistence is not inherently supported. To enable data storage and persistence, it is necessary to manually attach and mount an additional data disk to the instance. This will provide the capacity to store and retain data beyond the instance's lifecycle, allowing for a more reliable and secure data management solution.
