CUBRID is a relational DBMS optimized for online transaction processing (OLTP) that complies with ANSI SQL standards and provides MVCC support, High-Availability (HA) capabilities, and GUI-based tools for DB management/migration. It also provides Oracle/MySQL compatibility and supports a variety of interfaces, including JDBC. CUBRID consists of a 3-tier structure of applications/interfaces, brokers, and servers, and the flexibility to build systems is ideal for data-intensive online transaction processing (OLTP) services. CUBRID provides the HA (High-Availability) feature to enable OLTP services to be highly available and to balance traffics efficiently; 24 hours x 365 days of non-stop service can be implemented through server redundancy.

This listing bundles the CUBRID database with Red Hat Enterprise Linux at no software charge. You pay only for the underlying AWS infrastructure you choose. Each dimension maps to one EC2 instance type, billed hourly. The instance families range from small general-purpose types to memory-optimized, compute-optimized, storage-optimized, and accelerated-computing options. Larger sizes carry more CPU, memory, and networking, so your hourly cost scales with the instance you select. CUBRID uses an open-source license, so you owe no license fee; charges reflect infrastructure only. Pick the instance that matches your workload and budget.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I get for each hourly instance dimension I select?
Each dimension maps to one EC2 instance type running the CUBRID database on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The instance type sets your CPU, memory, storage, and networking. You are billed per hour for the running instance. There is no separate software license fee, since CUBRID uses an open-source license.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or paused?
Hourly charges apply while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing hourly compute charges. Attached AWS storage may still incur separate storage fees while the instance is stopped. Because CUBRID is open-source, no software license fee applies in either state.
Does this hourly price include technical support from CUBRID?
No. The hourly charge covers only AWS infrastructure for the chosen instance. CUBRID sells technical support separately as service products, not through this listing. Development support is billed by the hour, and maintenance is an annual per-server plan. Contact the vendor for those services.
