What do you like best about the product?
Two of our biggest challenges as a company were improving efficiency in consolidating data from multiple sources and building dashboards at scale — both of which were resolved swiftly, resulting in a 5x improvement in performance and visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing as such which I dont like about 5x.

The 5X team has been extremely responsible and supportive throughout the process of transforming our company’s raw data into a structured and insightful model. The platform itself is user-friendly, seamlessly integrating both the IDE and BI environments. Overall, both the product and the team have played a key role in helping our startup become more data-driven and mature

Since both the company and the product are still evolving, some features are still in beta and may require waiting for full functionality. Occasionally, team turnover can also slow down progress. However, these issues are not critical and are likely to be resolved as the platform continues to mature

5X is helping us centralize and streamline our entire data stack — from connecting raw data sources like Postgres, S3, and Redshift to modeling and visualizing everything in one place. It’s solving the pain of fragmented pipelines and manual maintenance by offering a managed data platform that combines ingestion, transformation, and BI under one roof. In the time we have been using 5X, we are really impressed with the speed and accuracy of the platform. The platform is built on an open source of technology which expidites the data gathering and analysis process. The platform gives us a one single view.

The team took longer than expected to deploy the platform since it a bit complex deployment

5X helped us to envisage the vision of unified data platform. We can now source, model and perform analytics in one single place rather than doing the individual activities on different platforms. It is the ease of the doing all things in one place has helped us a lot.

We have been using 5X for a month now. 5X has helped us to get all of our data in one single place at the same time. This has helped us to look at the data from a single point of view. We have not much more control over the data

The team took time to do the initial setup and there was a lot of learning curve

Earlier we had multiple sources of data which were scattered all around the business. After implementing 5X, all the data sources are now in one single place. This has helped us a lot in visualising the data and also compare the data from different sources.

What do you like best about the product?
5X truly delivers on the promise of an end-to-end data platform. From ingestion pipelines to model development and orchestration, every component is well integrated. The ability to manage dbt transformations, monitor jobs, and visualize data flow within a single UI has drastically reduced friction between data engineering and analytics teams. It’s one of the few tools that feels built for real-world scalability.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a bit of a learning curve initially since the platform is so comprehensive, but once you get used to the workflow, it becomes second nature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data modeling and management have become much smoother with 5X. The platform enforces a layered structure ensuring that logic is organized and consistent. Combined with built-in orchestration and ingestion, it’s a complete ecosystem that reduces operational overhead and improves reliability across the stack.
