Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Each license gives one person access to the platform's premium creation and collaboration features. Licenses go to staff, faculty, and administrators. Licenses first cover the staff and administrators who hold them. Your institution can unlock access for the entire student body once you buy enough licenses to meet a threshold. That threshold depends on your full-time student count. Student access then comes at no extra charge.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very user friendly and can be self taught. You can be very basic with your use or dive into a high level type of design work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally there are features that go away with updates such as the QR code. Sometimes the updates take a bit to get use to if cosmetic differences have been made to the layout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use canva as our branding hub for a non profit independent school. It is where I create all designs for our school.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Canva is how fast and seamless it makes the design process. Its extensive template library and intuitive drag-and-drop tools let you produce clean, professional-looking visuals in minutes without the learning curve or complexity of heavier software.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about Canva is that too many essential assets and advanced features are locked behind the Pro paywall. Additionally, the editor tends to lag noticeably when managing complex projects with multiple layers, and its precision controls still fall short compared to dedicated design software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva solves the bottleneck of needing heavy software or dedicated designers for everyday visual assets. It brings templates, preset formats, and fast editing together in one place. The main benefit for me is pure speed and independence: I can produce clean, professional-looking decks, posts, and documents in minutes, drastically cutting down project turnaround time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Canva’s high-quality, professional templates because I can easily edit and customize them. I only need to change some colors, text details, and element placement to have my design ready. The variety of services and templates makes Canva my go-to for graphic design; even when I don’t have an idea, I can browse and find what I need for images, thumbnails, and picture posts. Canva is easy to set up and use, and I find it easier to use than Pixel Lab. I also appreciate how Canva keeps improving.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the free templates too low quality compared with the paid templates. I understand that I have to subscribe to get the best out of Canva, but the difference shouldn’t be so obvious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva takes care of my graphic design needs with readily available templates for thumbnails, Facebook post images, and other designs.
