Drag-and-drop design has transformed my resumes and collaboration and creates professional visuals

    Reviewed on Mar 31, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Canva Enterprise  is during college and internship tasks where I create presentations, resumes, social media content, and edit images for birthday wishes and basic designs. It made design work much more efficient, easier, and more user interactive, which users appreciate, and allowed me to accomplish design tasks even without having professional design skills. Canva provides a variety of templates for different occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries, as well as for resumes. I can simply edit the provided templates with my data, which is very user-friendly. The collaboration feature is also very useful, allowing team members to work together on the same design. Canva supports teamwork benefits, enabling both of us to edit the same template, which is excellent for collaboration at the company and educational levels. Everyone needs to be involved in editing and viewing designs, and Canva provides these features as well. I appreciate the large library of templates, fonts, and images that make my designs look more professional since I was not knowledgeable about color contrasting and what looks appealing. However, there are some limitations; advanced features and elements are only available at paid levels, and customization options can feel limited compared to professional tools. For very complex designs, it may not be as powerful as advanced design software. Overall, Canva Enterprise  is an excellent platform for students, teams, or any user who wants to create professional-looking designs quickly without deep technical knowledge about UI or UX.

I am using Canva Enterprise for resume making as I enter my seventh semester, and my college placements are starting. I need to create the best resume, and Canva helps me achieve a high rating score since it looks professional, interactive, and many HR departments appreciate my resume and approve it. Because of this, I can at least have the chance to attend interviews; otherwise, sometimes users may be more qualified in skills, but they do not get a chance due to their resumes. Thanks to Canva Enterprise, I can attend many interviews, and my resume seems to get approved.

    What is most valuable?

The best features Canva Enterprise offers are that it is very easy to use and understand, even without prior knowledge of UI, UX, or color contrasting, images, and fonts. I can simply drag and drop the elements I like, and I have the ability to change them. The collaboration feature allows me to work as a team, which is a significant advantage, and it saves time with ready-made templates. If I do not need to create proper templates from scratch, I can use various templates they provide. It is also beneficial for team collaboration, and no design experience is required, making it easy for beginners.

Canva Enterprise has helped me personally with my work and studies. It saves me time and energy by providing ready-made templates that I can populate with data. It is incredibly useful for my personal use and also for educational purposes, and I rely on it heavily.

    What needs improvement?

There are many features that are available only in the pro version or are restricted to advanced plan features, which can be costly. There are also limited advanced customizations; as I mentioned, some features are locked behind paid plans, which are not ideal for complex professional design work. Overall, Canva Enterprise is an excellent platform for students, teams, or any user who wants to create professional-looking designs quickly without deep technical knowledge about UI or UX.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Canva Enterprise for two to two and a half years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    Canva Enterprise is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    Canva Enterprise is completely scalable.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before using Canva Enterprise, I mainly used Picsart for personal tasks related to images and social media content for events such as birthdays and anniversaries. However, since discovering Canva Enterprise, I have not sought any other options because it provides me with superior design capabilities.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment from using Canva Enterprise; it saves time by providing templates that allow for easy interaction and creation without needing prior knowledge of UI, UX, or design.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I evaluated other options before choosing Canva Enterprise; specifically, I looked into Picsart.

What other advice do I have?

As a task, I designed my UI for an application using Canva Enterprise because I did not know how to handle front-end or back-end designing. I made the design UI in Canva Enterprise, and then I started the implementation process. Essentially, I designed the UI in Canva Enterprise from the start of the application.

The advice I would give to others considering using Canva Enterprise is that whether you are a professional or a student, if you want to create designs without basic knowledge or if you have some background, you will find it easy and user-friendly. I rate this product an eight out of ten.

Designing consistent UI flows has become seamless and supports collaborative prototyping

    Reviewed on Feb 24, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I use Canva Enterprise  for UI/UX designing and prototyping. As a developer, I need it for making the front-end of applications. For that purpose, I need the UI and the overall flow.

Recently, I developed a feature using Canva Enterprise  for AI job creation. There was a flow for what button should be placed in the existing application, how it will open a side drawer, and what the overall flow will be after opening the side drawer. I used it for button placement and prototyping to show the happy flow and edge cases that need to be considered. All of those things need to be shown to me as a developer, and Canva Enterprise provided that.

Canva Enterprise is used for UI/UX development. Using it, I am also maintaining the overall similarity between every feature in the overall application.

    What is most valuable?

Prototyping is one of the features that Canva Enterprise offers. Creating flows is one of the good features I have used. Also, using the reusability of components, such as reusability of buttons that I have already developed, allows me to easily drag and drop and reuse them. Additionally, easy access between multiple people is provided. If one person is using it and making changes to something, the other person is able to watch it live.

I think prototyping is the best feature of Canva Enterprise. As a developer, I need to see the whole flow. When I click a button, I need to know what can possibly open and what responses the application should throw. Prototyping is the best feature.

Canva Enterprise has positively impacted my organization. This is the most experienced application I have ever been on, and they have been developing it according to developers' needs, so it is very great in that sense.

    What needs improvement?

Canva Enterprise is very good, but small components could be developed with HTML and CSS directly from Canva. If I have a button and want the HTML and CSS for that button, it should be generated through Canva. If that were possible, it would be very beneficial.

Canva Enterprise is heavy software. It takes a little time to load, which could be improved.

All the features in Canva Enterprise are very convenient for me as a developer to use. I can see overall details such as the width of a button and the color. That is why it is very good. The application is very large, so that could be reduced. It is a heavy application, and it sometimes takes a lot of time for rendering on PCs with low-end specifications.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Canva Enterprise in my company for the last two and a half years.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Canva Enterprise is very good for low-level applications as well as high-level applications. From my opinion, if an application is very vast and in the future it is going to grow from one to 100 million users, the scalability is important, and I need to make the application overall so the button is similar everywhere and the color is similar everywhere. Canva is one of the best things that one should use. In that sense, it is very good.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before using Canva Enterprise, I have been using Canva from day one, so I do not have an idea of what would happen if I were not using it. However, there were some places where I was not using Canva. What happened is that whenever I was developing a feature and I was not able to see the flow, I had to take assumptions that this feature will be present here, this button will be here, and this should be the UI. The flow in my mind was good, but the issue was that there could be differences in the opinions of different people. When I see the UI in an actual sense, it is better to grab the whole flow. This is one of the best cases. The UI/UX developer and I are able to see what the flow will be, and the UI/UX developer gives me the happy flow and happy design. I just need to replicate those. I do not need to think about it.

What other advice do I have?

I give Canva Enterprise a rating of nine out of ten on the rating scale.

Visual collaboration has transformed sales decks and training presentations for our teams

    Reviewed on Feb 16, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

Canva Enterprise  is primarily used to create visual design and graphics as well as presentations for sales, presentation decks for sales, and template creations. The main purpose has been deck creation; whenever we get a project, or even before getting a project, we need to highlight the positive and negative aspects of the organization or the people working in the organization to give a brief on how we can approach the solution to the particular issue or project. To design those templates or decks, such as sales decks, our salespeople have to give presentations to other organizations to acquire a project and cross-sell our products so that they can consider the product based on their needs.

Canva Enterprise  is used to create social media graphic content for any post that we need to make and post on LinkedIn, Facebook, or WhatsApp. Additionally, it is used for sales enablement decks and decks for internal communication. For any scheduled meeting, we prepare decks and highlight the agenda of that particular meeting using Canva Enterprise to design the decks and presentations. During onboarding training, there are many presentations that need to be given to employees, and we use Canva Enterprise for all these purposes.

    What is most valuable?

There are several features that I can highlight about Canva Enterprise, including real-time editing. For the person who is making changes, if the particular file is shared with different users and they are making changes, we can easily track who is doing the changes through an audit trail. Commenting and reviews are also valuable. If something needs to be changed, someone can review the document and provide feedback through comments. Permissions are crucial as well; people who do not have access will not be able to edit the document, so role-based permissions are provided.

Canva Enterprise is one of the highly secure platforms, which can be integrated with SAML or Single Sign-On , as well as role-based access controls and governing policies. Analytics and API integration are also available. There is a significant positive impact on our organization from Canva Enterprise and considerable return on investment. Compared to other tools available in the market, Canva Enterprise has been one of our greatest assets in time management and return on investment. We can easily track who has made changes and who has added comments, plus it can be deployed over the cloud, so it does not need to be a desktop application.

    What needs improvement?

A deep understanding of the complete workflow of how Canva Enterprise works would be beneficial. If comprehensive documentation on how this workflow functions were provided, that would be the best suggestion I can give to Canva Enterprise.

For advanced, complex designs that need to be created, Canva Enterprise is not capable of handling them, which is something that needs to be improved. Compared to Canva Enterprise, there are other better tools available for advanced graphic design tooling.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Canva Enterprise for the last one and a half years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    Canva Enterprise is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    Canva Enterprise is highly scalable.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for Canva Enterprise is very good based on my experience with their support team.

How would you rate customer service and support?

    Negative

    What was our ROI?

We have seen a return on investment with Canva Enterprise. There is significant time saved in designing graphics or decks for presentations. Since it is a subscription model based on per user volume, the cost scales with our usage. Beyond that, the return on investment is quite positive.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing for Canva Enterprise is based on a subscription model.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We are using other solutions apart from Canva Enterprise, such as Figma  and Microsoft Designer. Compared to those two, Figma  and Canva Enterprise have received positive feedback from me.

We evaluated Adobe Creative Cloud before choosing Canva Enterprise, but most users suggested that Canva is beginner-friendly, which is why we chose Canva Enterprise over Adobe so that even users who do not have experience with design tools can master it, whereas Adobe is designed for professional designers.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate Canva Enterprise an 8 out of 10. The reason for this rating is that Canva Enterprise does not have the features for advanced graphic design, and a deep understanding of the workflow of Canva Enterprise is required. These are the two areas that prevent a higher rating. The advice I would give to users who are considering Canva Enterprise is that if you do not have experience with design tools, then Canva Enterprise is one of the best tools to consider for a beginner.

Creative workflows have become faster and collaboration improves weekly content production

    Reviewed on Feb 16, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Canva Enterprise  is to create designs like PNG designs, such as banners, graphics, flyers, posters, and labels.

I'm in UX design, so my main use case fits into a creative process where there are a lot of creatives we need to produce every week. In that manner, I use Canva Enterprise  to generate the most creative works for some kind of startup companies to enhance their company brand.

    What is most valuable?

The best features that Canva Enterprise offers include removing the background, adding graphics, video editing, poster creations, and varying dimensions that stand out to me the most.

I most often use the background remover tool for poster creation, banner creation, and label creation. This is for some kind of product; for example, if I am generating our Amazon account, I will use product images. For team photos, during every occasion and function, we develop the photos, and I can do this with Canva Enterprise.

Canva Enterprise has positively impacted my organization in that it definitely saves time; because we are in a creative field, we need to create more creatives every week, so this saves our time. Additionally, it improves the collaboration of designers and developers, and of course, it boosts creativity as we can utilize existing templates for new content, making it very useful.

    What needs improvement?

I think version control should be in Canva Enterprise, and I'm expecting that feature to be added.

Canva Enterprise can be improved by adding version control and Illustrator-like features, which would be very useful for creative users. Features like font creation and type scale creation would also be helpful.

I think we need to have some ruler-like tools for in-design work in Canva Enterprise.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Canva Enterprise from January 2024 until now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    Canva Enterprise is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Canva Enterprise handles growth well and increases demand effectively.

How are customer service and support?

I didn't interact with Canva Enterprise's customer support because I didn't face any issues with them. That's why I didn't contact customer support.

How would you rate customer service and support?

    Negative

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before Canva Enterprise, I used Figma  because it is very adaptive and very intuitive creative software, which is why I switched.

    How was the initial setup?

I did purchase Canva Enterprise through the AWS Marketplace .

    What about the implementation team?

My company does not have any business relationship with this vendor other than being a customer.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment from Canva Enterprise as it definitely saves more time, and we can utilize it with very few employees. We can create the content efficiently; if the employees have design knowledge, there are no issues with creativity, allowing us to utilize this software effectively.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I find the pricing, setup cost, and licensing of Canva Enterprise to be very affordable, and in that way, it is very useful.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing Canva Enterprise.

What other advice do I have?

For example, I create every poster in one or two hours. However, it reduces the delivery time by one hour and reduces most creative tasks in a very useful manner.

The user interface of Canva Enterprise is already a good one, and I find no issues with it. For integrations, we could integrate with Figma-like tools, which would be very useful for us to shift one design to another design software.

My advice for others looking into using Canva Enterprise is that if you are managing a small company and need more creatives, you can definitely use Canva Enterprise.

I would be glad if Canva converted into a kind of Affinity-like solution, as it would be very useful for us.

I have given this product a rating of nine out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Private Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Centralized visual workflows have boosted automation and brand control but still need better dev tooling

    Reviewed on Jan 18, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I use Canva Enterprise  for creating attractive visuals and scaling various production through code and managing organization infrastructure. The most powerful use case for a developer is the Connect API. We can use Java to automate the creation of branded assets by injecting data directly into Canva templates. By using dynamic asset generation, we can use the Autofill API to pull data from our Java backend and automatically generate hundreds of customized social media posts, PDFs, and reports. Canva provides a Java SDK specifically for backend development of Canva extensions, which can be used for content extensions and publishing extensions. Since we are on the Enterprise tier, we can use Canva for our SSO  integration, managing the authentication flow for thousands of employees. We use the SCIM API with Java to automate user provisioning. When a new employee is added to our company's HR system, our code can automatically create their Canva Enterprise  account and assign them to a specific engineering or marketing team.

Magic Switch is a bridge between a messy brainstorming session and a polished executive deliverable. For a team of developers and stakeholders, it is primarily used to eliminate the busy work of reformatting. This is the most common use case for tech teams. After a sprint planning or architecture session on a Canva whiteboard, we can use Magic Switch to transform it into a document. The AI summarizes our sticky notes, diagrams, and flowcharts into a structured project brief for technical specification. This saves us from having to type out everything that was discussed during the meeting. When we have 40-50 slide deep dive presentations, we can use Magic Switch to transform them into a document with an executive summary. This extracts the key takeaways and metrics into a one-page document that helps senior people who do not have time to sit and read the full deck.

    What is most valuable?

There are multiple valuable features that Canva Enterprise offers. While it has many popular features like Background Remover or Magic Design, the best feature for me as a Java developer is Magic Switch. With one click, it can convert a technical whiteboard into a professional presentation or a presentation into a summary document. For developer benefit, it is perfect for turning a messy brainstorming whiteboard of our system architecture into a clean deck. While not flashy for an enterprise user, System for Cross-domain Identity is the most critical feature. It allows us to automate the provisioning and de-provisioning of users through our company's identity provider. Since we work with data, the Flourish integration is arguably the most powerful visualization tool in the suite. It allows for high-end interactive data storytelling. For our code, the Connect API, Magic Switch, and SCIM API are the best features Canva Enterprise offers.

Canva Enterprise has helped our organization tremendously. For an organization like ours, it is not just a design tool; it is a productivity operating system that centralizes brand identity and automates content workflow. Large organizations see a massive reduction in low-value design requests because of its significant return on investment and time savings. Various teams including marketing, sales, and HR can create their own assets using pre-approved templates instead of waiting weeks for a design agency or internal creative team. This gives us faster turnaround. On average, enterprise users report a 90% faster turnaround time for content creation. For our organization, this means product launches and internal announcements happen in days, not months. Admins get access to audit logs and reporting, allowing our organization to see exactly which templates are being used most and where the bottlenecks are. The worry about inconsistent logos and fonts is solved through strict controls using brand kits. If our organization manages multiple sub-brands or products, we can maintain a separate brand kit for each, and designers can lock specific elements so that non-designers can edit the text but cannot break the brand's appearance.

    What needs improvement?

While Canva Enterprise is a powerhouse, there are specific areas where it could be improved. Currently, Canva provides an Open API specification, but it does not maintain official first-party client libraries for languages like Java or Python. Developers have to use tools like Open API generator to create their own clients. This adds overhead in managing dependencies and ensuring the generated code handles Canva's specific authentication. Canva could release a first-party Java SDK with better support for Maven and Gradle, including built-in retry logic.

Another area for improvement is versioning. For developers, versioning usually means a clear history of changes. However, Canva has basic version history that is linear and lacks the branching and merging logic needed for complex projects. Design as Code features could be implemented where templates could be exported as JSON and modified in an integrated development environment. This would allow developers to manage design templates in the same continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline as their application code.

Additionally, Canva currently provides notifications when a design is exported. However, developers need more granular triggers such as comment added, approval rejected, or brand kit element updated. Canva could expand the webhook suite to cover every administrative and creative action, which would allow much tighter integrations with Jira , Slack, or custom internal dashboards.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Canva Enterprise for three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Canva Enterprise is stable and has been reliable to our team.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Canva Enterprise has been very useful for our organization and teams. Instead of one giant bucket of users, Canva Enterprise uses a multi-layered structure that mirrors a real corporation. Top admins control global security, billing, and high-level branding. There are various team and group levels. This prevents clutter as we grow; a 5,000-person company can stay organized because users only see the teams and assets relevant to their specific role.

The biggest challenge for growing companies is brand dilution. Canva gives us brand kits so admins can lock down specific colors, fonts, and logos across the organization. We have template locking where designers can create templates where only the text and photos can be changed, but the layout and branding are unmovable. As organizations grow, manual user management becomes impossible. However, Canva Enterprise integrates with our existing IT stack including SSO  and SCIM. It automates onboarding and offboarding through tools like Okta, Azure , or Google Workspace . We have audit logs which track who created what and when, which is essential for compliance and security.

Canva Enterprise helps organizations scale their output without scaling their cost linearly. We have asset consolidation where instead of paying for separate stock photo subscriptions for every department, everyone gets access to Canva's 100 million plus library. This is how it has been scalable and helpful for our organization and teams.

How are customer service and support?

I have reached out to customer support for Canva Enterprise. Unlike free or pro tiers, enterprise customers are assigned specific people to manage their account health. This is deployed using a high-touch model. When a technical issue arises, enterprise users bypass the standard support queues. Enterprise tickets are routed to a dedicated senior support team with faster guaranteed response times. Admins often have access to live admin support for faster communication. Large organizations get access to a status dashboard and proactive alerts for any service interruptions that might affect global productivity. Customer support has been available 24 into 7 whenever we faced any issues. The customer support of Canva Enterprise is very supportive.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before moving to Canva Enterprise, we relied on a fragmented mix of heavy professional tools. We used Adobe Creative Cloud, which is great for professionals but a massive bottleneck for everyone else. Non-designers could not touch the files, leading to endless change request tickets for the creative team. We also used Google Slides, Lucidchart , and Adobe Creative Cloud. The main reasons for switching to Canva Enterprise are brand control. Brand kits and template locking ensure it is impossible to use wrong brand assets. We have tech consolidation with one visual suite that handles documents, videos, and diagrams in one bill. We have democratization where 5,000 people can edit text in a pre-approved template in Canva Enterprise, but not in other tools. We have speed where a non-designer creates something in ten minutes using validated templates.

    How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for Canva Enterprise varies. The experience with enterprise pricing and licensing has shifted towards a more sophisticated bespoke model. Unlike the self-service Pro or Business tiers, Enterprise requires direct negotiation with Canva's sales team. For large organizations, the price typically ranges between $300 to $500 per user per year, depending on the total headcount and the advanced security features included. Organizations often feel this cost is net neutral because it allows them to cancel other software licenses. While there is not usually a hidden setup fee in the software price, there are implementation resources to consider. The enterprise tier usually includes a dedicated account manager who helps with brand kit migration and team structure setup. From a developer's perspective, the cost is actually internal engineering hours. We need to allocate time for SSO and SCIM configuration, connecting Canva Enterprise to our identity provider, SCIM setup for automating user provisioning, and API token management for securely setting up the Connect API for our Java backend.

    What was our ROI?

We have definitely seen a return on investment. We have seen an immediate return on investment by replacing multiple niche subscriptions with one enterprise license. Salesforce  reported a 66% reduction in cost per design. By moving from a fragmented model to Canva Enterprise, we have centralized our budget and lowered the per-asset cost significantly. Companies typically save between $1.7 million and $3 million over three years by consolidating their creative tech stack. For our team, the biggest return on investment is the hours returned to our engineers and designers. For example, we used Canva Enterprise to automate rebrands and asset creation. Instead of a designer manually creating 100 versions of a banner, they use a template that non-designers could edit. We have saved 500 plus hours annually by creative teams and achieved an 85% reduction in time spent on repetitive tasks including resizing, translating, and using tools like Magic Switch. Return on investment is also measured by how much we can produce without increasing headcount. Our team saw a 30% increase in creative output while simultaneously reducing internal design requests by 42%.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

As a Java developer, we have used Adobe Express before. Adobe Express is often the first alternative evaluated, especially because it integrates perfectly with Photoshop  and Illustrator if professional designers are already in the Adobe ecosystem. Express allows them to share linked assets with non-designers. However, Canva Enterprise won because Adobe Express often lacks the all-in-one breadth. At the enterprise level, Canva Enterprise's infinite whiteboards and fully featured video editor provide a more unified suite than Express, which can still feel like a light version of professional tools. We also used Figma . Figma  is a gold standard for user interface and user experience design and prototyping. However, Canva Enterprise won because Figma is too technical for the average marketing or human resources team. While we might use Figma for app user interface design, the rest of the organization needs to make posters, links in headers, and internal decks. Canva Enterprise is move-in ready with millions of templates, whereas Figma starts as a blank canvas. That is why we moved to Canva Enterprise.

What other advice do I have?

The basic advice I can give to others is to not just turn it on; build a foundation first. The biggest mistake companies make is inviting 500 people into a blank workspace. Before rollout, establish a brand source of truth. Set up your brand kits and brand templates before anyone else joins. Then use template locking. This is the secret source of enterprise. Lock the positions of logos and legal disclaimers so non-designers can swap photos and text. Audit your assets and do not migrate every old PowerPoint. Only move high-quality approved imagery into Canva Enterprise folders to prevent asset rot. Also, treat enablement as a marketing campaign. Designers often fear Canva Enterprise will replace them or cheapen the brand, but we need to change the narrative around designers as enablers. We can position our professional designers as the architects who build the templates while the rest of the staff are builders who use them. This frees designers from boring tasks. Additionally, leverage human support. You are paying for more than just software. Use your customer success manager, who has seen how other 10,000 plus person companies organize their folders. Ask them for folder taxonomy and templates so you do not have to reinvent the wheel. I would rate this product a seven out of ten overall.
