Feature-Rich Yet Costly for Students
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the thousands of beautiful templates and custom designs available on Canva. I feel like none of the other platforms provide such a large variety of these designs and templates. The AI PPT maker on Canva is another feature I find very beneficial, especially for students and professionals. Also, the initial setup was great because I didn't face any complications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main problem is that most of the custom templates and formats are paid, which can be difficult, especially for students. I think that some mid-level templates and designs should be free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva for Graphic Design, Web Page Design, and PPT purposes. I like the thousands of beautiful templates and costume designs it offers and the AI PPT maker is very beneficial for both students and professionals.
Intuitive Design Tool for Non‑Designers, with Fast Photo, Video Editing, Simple Content creation
What do you like best about the product?
For anyone who's not a designer, Canva is a great and easy way to create print and digital designs - in the right format, size and with the brand assets easily imported for use. The tool helps me and the team quickly edit photos, videos too (not just cropping but also adding audio to them, intros and outros and more). And with no super complex settings. It's intuitive and easy to use without the need of heavy and long onboarding. Price-wise - it's on the cheaper side per seat vs. Figma, for example.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would give a different angle here. In our team, we use both Canva and Figma. We have a lot more freedom design-wise there - big canvases with multiple options, styles, settings. Drafting website page designs is just more flexible in Figma because you work in one big canvas in which you can move around vs. Canva where the experience is simplified, so you can work on sections but won't see the bigger picture between page design, and move components around with more freedom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For quick edits of images, social media visuals, short videos - Canva offers a great solution. Also, when you're not a designer, Canva offers the simplified experience. This is good for me and for people in my team that are not designers.
Unmatched Ease of Use—Everything We Need in One Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is unmatched. It does everything I need it for and I dont need to go to other platforms to supplement support. We get a free subscription since were a non profit and you cant beat that!.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is a bit clunky and difficult to use. I feel like it needs to refinement because its irritating to struggle through using it on your phone when you need to turn around content quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to create multiple types of content for social media, emails, and ads.
Endless Creative Templates—Now Feeling More Polished Than Ever
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Canva is a smorgasbord of adaptable ideas and creative starting points. I love that it has inspiration, assets and designs for a million and one different layouts, formats, objectives and aesthetics. From creating a leaflet to a website, brand identity to wedding invitation, anyone can do it on Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to dislike the slightly 'cheap' feel of Canva but it has grown up a lot in the past decade and in particular, the last five years, and now I don't see that at all. I like most of the functionality and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing, creating and amalgamating without the expertise, inspiration nor time.

Canva is super easy to use and an easy way to create materials.

If you're looking for advanced customization, you may find it lacking.

All of the elements and animations that you can include on your graphics. Also i love how you can create a group and share designs for others on your team to review and edit

Canva has met and exceeded all expectations that I had. For what it does, it truly is a one stop shop

When my graphic design team is swamped, i am able to go and create quick graphics that my clients are happy with
Canva’s AI and Elements Library Make Content Creation Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I like it's AI capabilities of removing the backgrounds from the image. Also generating the templates using the prompt is really awesome way to start the presentation/slides. I also love the Elements library that canva has. You can find each and every tool/illustration that you need for your any isecase.
What do you dislike about the product?
I never ever had any complain about canva. It's just working awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't need to start from the scratch I can surely find some suitable presentation for my any talk/session or any use-case. I even don't have to go to the any other platform for getting the illustration/elements. Canva's element library is really vast, and they are even expanding by the help of AI.

I use Canva for creating a variety of content, like presentations, social media posts, posters, certificates, worksheets, and educational materials. What I like most about Canva is its simplicity and huge template library, which makes it easy to create clean and attractive designs quickly, even without professional design experience. The drag and drop interface and collaboration features make design work beginner-friendly and efficient. The availability of elements, animations, and AI tools enhance the design process, making it very smooth and productive. It saves me time by allowing me to design professional-looking content without needing advanced editing skills, and it's especially helpful when I need to create classroom materials quickly. The collaboration tools are great for working with others on presentations or educational content since multiple people can edit and review designs in real-time. Additionally, the AI tools help generate content ideas, remove backgrounds, resize designs for different platforms, and create visuals quickly. Setting up Canva was very easy, and the intuitive interface, along with onboarding tips and ready-made templates, ensures that even first-time users can get started quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva works very well overall, but some advanced features are limited compared to professional design software. Sometimes heavy projects become slow on lower-end devices or with weak internet connections. A few premium elements and templates are locked behind paid plans, and more flexibility in layer management and precise editing tools would make it even better for detailed design work.

Canva saves me time by enabling quick, professional designs without advanced skills. Its drag-and-drop interface and templates simplify creating presentations, social media graphics, and educational content. Collaboration features and AI tools further enhance ease of use and productivity.

ability to create professional marketing materials for my small business, including paper products and digital files
What do you dislike about the product?
not being able to download files in as high res as I would like. they appear clear in Canva, but do not look as sharp once opened outside of Canva

What do you like best about the product?
I use Canva for school, and it helps me easily make presentations with a pleasing design and organize my ideas well. I really like the range of design options available, especially because I can find templates that match my topics, like a presentation for aquatic science. The initial setup was straightforward as I logged in with Microsoft, and the setup instructions were easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to record yourself presenting. I don't like how it makes me use my face; I want to be able to use just my voice. Also, if I have a video in the presentation, it doesn't play.

Canva helps me easily create presentations with pleasing designs and organize my ideas well. With lots of design options, I can find templates that match my topics, like aquatic science.
