What I like most about Canva is its ease of use. The interface is clean, intuitive, and well-designed, making it simple to create professional-looking designs without a steep learning curve. The AI-powered features are particularly valuable, as they help streamline workflows and save time on repetitive tasks. For most of my design needs, the free version provides everything I require, making Canva my preferred design tool.

Performance is consistently smooth and reliable, with no noticeable lag during use. The mobile app is also a great addition, allowing me to work on projects conveniently from anywhere. The onboarding experience is straightforward, and I have found the support resources helpful and easy to access. Additionally, integrating Canva with tools such as Claude is simple and seamless, requiring minimal setup and enabling a more efficient workflow.

What do you dislike about the product?

While Canva is an excellent tool overall, some advanced features and premium assets are locked behind the paid version, which can feel limiting if you rely heavily on the free plan. Also, when it comes to highly customized or professional-grade design work, Canva doesn’t always provide the same level of control and flexibility as dedicated design software. I’d like to see more advanced AI features as well as broader customization options to make the platform even better.

Canva helps me solve design and content creation challenges by providing an easy-to-use platform for creating presentations, social media graphics, documents, posters, and other visual content. It eliminates the need for advanced design skills while still enabling me to produce professional-looking results. The built-in templates, design tools, and AI-powered features significantly reduce the time required to create and edit content. As a result, I can complete projects more efficiently, improve the quality of my visual communications, and focus more on the content itself rather than the technical aspects of design.

Canva has been really beneficial for me when it comes to editing pictures and videos. It makes the whole process easier and helps me get the results I’m looking for.

I think the Canva app should include more templates, because the current selection feels a bit limited.

While Canva is extremely user-friendly, it does have some limitations. The design editor can occasionally become slow when working on large or asset-heavy projects, affecting overall performance. Although Canva integrates with many popular tools, some advanced workflows still require exporting and switching between platforms. The pricing is reasonable, but many of the best templates, stock assets, and AI-powered features are locked behind the Pro subscription, which may be costly for individual users. Customer support can sometimes take longer than expected for complex issues, and advanced design controls are not as robust as professional tools like Adobe Creative Cloud. Canva's AI features are useful for speeding up content creation, but the generated results often require manual refinement to meet higher-quality design standards. Overall, Canva prioritizes accessibility and ease of use, but power users may occasionally find its customization, performance, and advanced feature set somewhat limiting.

Canva has honestly made our lives so much easier. Before, creating anything decent-looking meant hiring a designer or spending forever in complicated software. Now anyone on the team can put together social media posts, presentations, and documents that actually look good — without needing any design skills. It's super easy to pick up, the templates save a ton of time, and things like the background remover and AI writing tools are genuinely useful day to day. It also connects well with Google Drive and other tools we already use. For what you pay, it's really great value — we've saved a lot of time and money just by switching to it.

What do you like best about the product?

It's an easy to use tool with a very intuitive interface. It's also very robust, allowing you to tackle almost any media project quickly that doesn't require in-depth design skills. I like the quick templates that can get you started on a project. It's definitely a great alternative to Adobe if you just need a quick design made.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don't like how many options are locked, and Canva is forcing you to subscribe to one of the paid tiers. You can do basic design with Canva, but as I keep working with it, it seems that less and less is made available. I also wasn't thrilled with some of the AI features...they weren't giving me the results that I wanted. I'm sure they'll improve over time, but for now, they're not the best.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Canva is allowing me to generate images, banners, and other media to use in building online courses. Now I don't need to depend upon a media specialist to create these one-off media projects for me. I can do it myself, which helps to speed up our workflow.

The ease of being able to edit and all the tools we have at our disposal.

At time, some of the templates available are not geared to everyone

Cropping AI needs work. Make interface more friendly for mobile devices (tablets, phones).
