Intuitive Hybrid Engagement, but Backend Customization Feels Limited

    Reviewed on Apr 14, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Cvent Attendee Hub strikes a strong balance between ease of use and robust engagement capabilities. The platform feels intuitive for attendees, which reduces friction and limits the need for support, while still providing interactive tools such as live polling, Q&A, chat, and agenda personalization. It performs especially well in hybrid event settings by delivering a cohesive experience for both virtual and in-person audiences. In addition, the ability to send real-time updates and monitor engagement metrics offers useful insights that can help refine and improve future events.
What do you dislike about the product?
The backend flexibility could be stronger. While the attendee experience is smooth, customization—especially around branding, layouts, and more advanced workflows—can feel somewhat limited. Setting up more complex or highly tailored events can also be time-consuming and may require support or workarounds, which can slow down execution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cvent Attendee Hub tackles several key challenges in event management, especially when tools are fragmented, attendee engagement is low, and visibility into event performance is limited. It brings the entire event experience—agendas, content, communications, networking, and analytics—into one platform, so there’s no need to juggle multiple systems.

From an attendee’s perspective, it helps close engagement gaps through interactive features such as chat, Q&A, polling, and personalized agendas. These tools make it easier for people to participate and contribute, rather than staying passive throughout the event.

For our team, the biggest advantages are operational efficiency and clearer insight. We can push updates in real time, keep attendees informed, and review detailed analytics on participation and behavior. Overall, this supports better event outcomes, higher attendee satisfaction, and more data-driven decisions for future events.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cvent Attendee Hub is saving me time and mental energy. When I put information in the attendee hub, it gets it out of my head and into a place where everyone can access it. Instead of addressing each individual question, attendees can go to the Attendee Hub and find answers faster than I could respond via email.
