ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus: Easy Deployment and Powerful Self-Service Security

    Reviewed on Aug 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus is its ability to significantly reduce help desk workload by enabling users to securely reset their own passwords and unlock their accounts without IT intervention. The solution is easy to deploy and provides a centralized platform for self-service password management, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and single sign-on (SSO). The value is good compared to what we are paying. ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus provides useful password self-service, account unlock, MFA, and password management capabilities that help reduce the IT help desk workload and improve user productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
While ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus provides strong self-service and security features, some areas could be improved. The user interface can feel dated in certain sections, and navigating through advanced configuration options may require additional learning for new administrators. Initial setup and integration with multiple applications, MFA providers, or complex Active Directory environments can take time and careful planning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus helps address common identity and access management challenges by enabling users to reset their passwords and unlock their accounts without contacting the IT help desk. This reduces the number of password-related support tickets, allowing the IT team to focus on higher-priority tasks and projects.

Reliable Self-Service Password Resets with Solid AD & Microsoft 365 Integration

    Reviewed on Aug 27, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the self-service password reset and account unlock. It takes a lot of basic tickets away from the helpdesk and users can fix the issue themselves pretty quickly. The AD and Microsoft 365 integration has also been solid for us. Setup was not perfect, but once configured it has been pretty reliable and doesn't require much day-to-day attention. UI is simple, AD/Microsoft 365 integrations work well, and performance has been reliable. It saves our helpdesk time and users can reset passwords or unlock accounts quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI feels a little dated and some settings are buried in too many menus. Initial setup and integrations can also take some trial and error, and support response times could be faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It reduces a lot of password reset and account lockout tickets for our helpdesk. Users can resolve common issues themselves, which saves IT time and improves ROI by lowering support workload. The AD and Microsoft 365 integrations work well, and the newer AI capabilities are helpful for automating repetitive admin tasks and making support a little more efficient.
