Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
This contract-based listing bills through two usage-based dimensions, both measured in Units. The Additional Usage dimension covers consumption beyond your base commitment, so you pay for extra Units as your inference workloads grow. The Shared Deployment dimension covers Units run on shared infrastructure managed by the vendor. Both scale with how many Units you consume rather than a fixed number of seats or instances. You choose the dimension that matches your deployment setup, and your total cost tracks the volume of inference work you run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A Unit measures the inference work you run through the service. Your bill tracks the volume of inference jobs processed, not the number of seats or servers. Both the Additional Usage and Shared Deployment dimensions meter consumption in these Units.
Shared Deployment covers Units run on infrastructure the vendor manages and shares across customers. Additional Usage covers consumption beyond your base contract commitment. Both bill independently by Unit volume, so you pay only for the dimension matching your deployment and the amount you consume.
The service offers execution modes that trade latency for price. You can run jobs immediately or send them in background and batch modes across longer completion windows. Choosing a longer window can lower cost. Billing still meters the Units your workloads consume in either dimension.
