You pay by the hour for each running instance, with no upfront commitment. Pricing follows the AWS Arm-based (arm64) instance you choose to run SUSE Linux Enterprise Micro 6.0 on. Each dimension maps to a specific instance type, so your hourly rate scales with the instance's size and family. Smaller sizes like medium or nano bill at lower hourly rates, while larger sizes such as 48xlarge and metal variants bill higher. Compute, memory, storage, and network-optimized families are all available. This listing serves EMEA orders only. You add or remove instances as your needs change.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You pay the hourly software rate only while an instance runs. A stopped or powered-off instance stops accruing the software charge. Note that underlying AWS resources, such as attached storage, may still bill separately even when the instance is not running.
Each dimension maps to one running Arm-based (arm64) instance of a specific type, billed per hour. One unit equals one instance-hour for that instance type. Larger instance sizes bill at higher hourly rates. Running two instances of the same type bills two instance-hours per hour.

Usage instructions
Use the image to start an instance of your choice in Amazon EC2. Once the instance is running connect to it using a Secure Shell (SSH) client as 'ec2-user' and the configured SSH key. The instance is connected to the SUSE update infrastructure to receive updates. Use the transactional-update command to update the system or install additional packages.
