    Overview

DVT, as a service for institutions, helps institutional clients stake Ethereum more resiliently by utilizing SSV Distributed Validator Technology (DVT). This service enables customers to allocate the duties of an Ethereum validator to a cluster of nodes spread across multiple operators, significantly improving the resilience of institutions running a large number of nodes. It also allows customers (institutions) to maintain full ownership, control, and secrecy of their keys at all times - provided by Launchnodes' solo staking non-custodial service.

Resilience is a top priority for institutional clients in both their solo staking architecture and the staking operators they use for validators. This service allows customers to reduce the risk and increase their staking operations' resiliency by not relying on a single hardware/software plane or a single staking vendor.

By using DVT as a service, customers get multi-operator, fault-tolerant clusters of servers that run Ethereum Execution clients, Consensus clients, Distributed Validator clients, and Validator clients. This ensures that if a validator fails, it can recover without going offline or facing slashing risks.

The service additionally provides a strategy document that maps clients' requirements into an implementation roadmap, which then provides an implementation plan to establish a repeatable and scalable pattern for using DVT inside their business. Launchnodes will also deliver and support the implementation of DVT for our customers by working with their engineering teams
