You pay by the hour for this pre-built Taiga project management image running on AWS. Pricing follows the EC2 instance size you choose, so there are no tiers or feature levels. Each dimension maps to a specific instance type across several families. Burstable types (the t2, t3, and t3a series) suit variable workloads. Compute-optimized (c3), memory-optimized (r3), storage-optimized (d2, d3), and GPU (g2, g3) families serve heavier needs. Larger sizes within a family cost more per hour. Hours accrue only while the instance runs, plus standard AWS infrastructure charges.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for a given instance type?
Each hourly unit maps to one running EC2 instance of the chosen type. You pay for every hour that instance stays running. The rate reflects the instance size and family, such as burstable, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, or GPU. Larger sizes within a family cost more per hour.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or paused?
The hourly software charge accrues only while the instance runs. When you stop the instance, the software metering stops too. Standard AWS infrastructure fees, such as storage for the stopped instance, may still apply separately. To avoid all charges, you must terminate the instance.
How do I move between instance types if my workload grows?
There is no upgrade path built into the pricing. Each dimension is a separate instance type billed by the hour. To change size, you stop the current instance and launch a different type. Billing then follows the new instance's hourly rate. No commitment locks you to one type.
