Obsidio runs controlled DDoS simulations against your own infrastructure from 100,000+ real, ethically sourced devices around the world, so the traffic looks like an actual botnet and you learn where you stand before a real attack does the testing for you.
The devices are real hardware and smartphones, not virtualized instances or datacenter IPs, so your WAF and load balancer face the kind of traffic they will see in production. Simulations are self-service: WAF, load balancer, and red teams can launch a test on demand, push a rule change, and re-run it within minutes. Each run generates a cryptographically attested, tamper-proof report your risk officer can hand to an auditor or regulator.
A test moves through four steps. First you verify ownership with a DNS TXT record, so no traffic flows until you authorize it. Then you set the simulation type, scale, geography, and duration in the dashboard. The simulation runs from the distributed device pool while you watch live metrics. When it finishes, you export compliance-ready results mapped to FINMA, DORA, and NIS2 for auditors and boards.
Available simulation types include HTTP Flood, Browser Flood, Slowloris, and Goldeneye, and the catalog keeps growing as attack techniques change. Every simulation is authorized and verifiable, running in Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) with cryptographic attestation.
