Overview
This is a cloud-native HAProxy Community Edition runtime on the Websoft9 Applications Hosting Platform. It is always up-to-date, secure, and ready to use right out of the box with business support from Websoft9.
HAProxy is a free, very fast and reliable solution, offering high availability, load balancing, and proxying for TCP and HTTP-based applications, used for Load Balancer.
Websoft9 is a lightweight, self-hosting PaaS that allows you to deploy multiple applications on your own cloud infrastructure. It employs a GitOps approach and includes an integrated app store that supports one-click deployment of over 300 template applications, as well as the ability to deploy custom applications. Users have complete autonomy, ensuring that applications can be easily configured and continuously deployed even after they are live. Additionally, the web-based interface allows users to effortlessly perform tasks such as domain binding, HTTPS setup, access control, and status monitoring.

Instead, the hourly rate tracks the compute resources of each instance. General-purpose families (m-series, t-series), compute-optimized (c-series), memory-optimized (r-series, x-series, z1d), storage-optimized (d2, h1, i3), and accelerated instances (g3, p2, p3, f1) are all available. Within each family, larger instance sizes carry higher hourly rates. Choose the size that matches your traffic and performance needs. You can stop anytime with no long-term commitment.

Each hourly charge maps to one running AWS EC2 instance of the type you pick. The instance family and size set the CPU, memory, and storage you receive. For example, memory-optimized families carry more RAM, while compute-optimized families favor processing power. You run one HAProxy load balancer on that instance.
The software is metered by running hours. A stopped instance does not accrue hourly software charges. You can stop anytime with no long-term commitment. Underlying AWS storage fees for the stopped instance may still apply separately through your AWS account.

Use local web browser to access https://<EC2_Instance_Public_IP>:9000, you will then see the setup wizard by Websoft9 Console.
Notes
- You do not need to SSH into EC2 at all steps, easy to operate.
- Make sure the EC2 security group permits ports 80, 443, 9000 and 9001
