What do you like best about the product?
Tideways makes it easy to spot where the most important performance problems are in a PHP application and its traces are detailed enough to visually see where you need to fix problems. It helped me identify performance issues that only existed for specific users in production which were otherwise impossible to reproduce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, it's a great tool all around!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tideways has helped me identify the cause of performance problems in many different PHP applications. The way it surfaces problematic requests and provides a great visual way to see where time is spent makes it easy to pinpoint the exact thing you need to improve to make a site faster. Having it running on production system has helped me identify user data specific performance problems which could not be reproduced locally or by any other user.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're running a PHP application Tideways is a must-have to monitor it effectively.
