You pay by the hour for vendor support tied to running Fedora 44 (Cloud Edition) on AWS. Each dimension maps to a specific EC2 instance type, so your rate follows the instance you choose to run. Larger instances (more vCPU and memory, like 48xlarge or metal sizes) carry higher hourly rates. Smaller instances (micro, nano, large) carry lower rates. There are no tiers or upfront commitments. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs. Choose the instance size that fits your workload, and pricing scales with that selection.

What does the hourly rate cover, and what does it not include?
The hourly rate covers vendor support for running Fedora 44 (Cloud Edition) on the EC2 instance you select. It does not include the underlying AWS compute charge for the instance itself. AWS bills that separately. You pay both the support rate and the AWS infrastructure cost.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or not running?
You are billed only for the hours each instance actually runs. When an instance is stopped, the hourly support charge stops accruing. Note that AWS may still charge for attached storage on a stopped instance, but that is separate from this per-hour support rate.
If I switch to a different EC2 instance type, how does my rate change?
Your rate follows the instance type you run. Each dimension maps to a specific type, so moving to another instance applies that instance's hourly rate. The change takes effect when you launch the new instance. There are no tiers to cross or upgrades to approve.
