My go-to tool for visual communication and hybrid meetings

    Reviewed on Jan 16, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Accessibility and Ease of use to present, and communicate with varying methods to help in negotiations and conveying understanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drawing elements can be tricky to have full editing access, we had some trouble when using it for dictionary.
Automated elements are not always immediately accessible. I end up building a lot of hidden visuals and media elements from scratch, but I'm sure there are predesigned options, I am not taking advantage of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The hybrid and remote workplace. This tool helps so much in bringing communication and social aspects out in these styles of interactions. It is also amazing for creating the ability to communicate visually and convey understanding when their is confusion, people need more granular explanations or details.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to collaborate easily with Miro! A coworker introduced me to MIro as we needed to build an interactive chart for an organization's SharePoint structure. Since we work mostly remote, Miro made it very simple for each of us to make updates as we needed to the chart. Miro is also a very easy tool to learn quickly, which is always a plus when it comes to tight project deadlines!
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt it was a bit difficult to use on a Mac; however, I am new to the tool. It may just take more time spent in the tool to adapt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helped us solve the obstacle of working remote while needed to collaborate on certain areas of a project.

A useful and powerful collaboration tool

    Reviewed on Jan 15, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is, at its core, a whiteboard designed for remote, collaborative work. I have used it to conduct collaborative workshops with students and colleagues who are widely distributed around the world. It has a wide range of features for capturing, debating, and discussing insights into real-world challenges and developing group insights. The built in tools support effective facilitation even in challenging circumstances, with the option to turn off tracking of comments and allowing anonymous feedback on items.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but keep in mind that Miro is not a modelling/mapping tool--I've seen people try to use it as a replacement for tools such as Visio and it doesn't do that well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me to collaborate with a distributed team and conduct fully participatory workshop sessions. There are few other tools that combine its ease of use in a distributed fashion, and it has a flexibility that allows it to support a lot of different sessions and agendas.
