Unlock the full potential of your AWS-based applications with LaunchDarkly, the runtime control platform for the AI era, trusted by software teams to control AI-generated code and AI agents in production at any scale.

Accelerate your software development lifecycle, de-risk deployments, and move at AI speed while staying in control.

The LaunchDarkly platform delivers runtime control through two solutions: CodeControl and AgentControl.

CodeControl helps teams ship AI-generated code confidently. With CodeControl, teams can observe production behavior, make changes in real time, and limit exposure based on actual impact. Through a combination of industry-leading feature flags, progressive rollouts, real-time observability, experimentation, and automatic recovery, LaunchDarkly gives organizations the ability to move at AI speed without giving up control.

AgentControl helps teams keep AI agents in check in production, blocking bad behavior and steering responses in real time. Teams can configure prompts and models before launch, monitor and observe live performance and behavior, and automatically take action, without redeploying. When agents make curious decisions, or when small prompt or model changes cause big issues, AgentControl detects and corrects them as they happen.

With runtime control across code and agents, LaunchDarkly helps enable teams to ship AI-built software with confidence, govern agent behavior in production, optimize AI performance and cost, build self-healing systems, and experiment continuously. The result is faster release velocity, lower production risk, and the ability to continuously adapt software and AI systems without slowing down to stay safer.

     Info

    Dimensions summary

You buy one contract bundle: the LaunchDarkly Pro Bundle. It is a fixed package priced as a single unit, not a menu of separate options. The bundle includes a set usage allowance of 300K CMAU (client-side monthly active users) and 10M experimentation events. Pricing does not scale per seat or per connection here; you commit to the bundled capacity for the contract term. Because there is one dimension, there are no tiers or add-ons to compare on Marketplace. You pay for the package as defined by its included usage amounts.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

A CMAU is one unique client-side user or device active in a month. Each distinct end user or device counts once, no matter how many times they connect. The bundle includes up to 300K such users per month as part of its fixed capacity.
Experimentation events tie to A/B and multivariate testing activity across features, models, and prompts. Each tracked experimentation action counts toward the 10M monthly total. The bundle includes this volume as part of the fixed package capacity.
The platform provides runtime control over code and AI agents. You get feature flags, targeting, progressive rollouts, and rollbacks. It also covers experimentation, observability such as logs and traces, and agent controls like prompt and model configuration. All run without redeploying code.

Useful Audit Trail and Reliable Performance

    Reviewed on Oct 11, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The audit trail is really useful whenever someone asks why a feature was enabled or when a change went live. Instead of piecing together the full timeline from scattered messages, I can quickly see what happened and when. I also appreciate that it gives me the breathing room to spot unexpected changes before they reach everyone, while still providing complete support and consistent performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I need more context about a flag’s business purpose. The technical names alone don’t tell me which financial reports or downstream metrics could be affected, and the UI could do a better job of surfacing that information so it’s easier to find when I need it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During month-end analysis, I struggled to tell whether a discrepancy was coming from the data itself or from a newly introduced change. Reviewing flag configurations alongside our data integrations helped narrow down the root cause, and the AI-assisted analysis let us investigate much faster without wasting hours digging through unrelated reports.

Feature Flags That Make Releases Safer, Faster, and More Controlled

    Reviewed on Oct 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to release code and switch features on separately, because it gives us more control over when changes actually reach users. For example, we can decide whether a specific user or organisation should receive a different value.

Gradual rollouts also help us introduce features to a small group first, gather feedback, and build confidence before moving to a wider release.

Being able to switch a feature off quickly is particularly useful if something goes wrong, since it reduces the pressure to rush out another deployment just to undo a change.

Finally, having feature flags in one place makes it easier to see what’s enabled and to manage changes consistently across environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to be able to create rule templates. For example, if I create a handful of flags to gate new features, I want to set up one reusable rule that enables them for my test user/shard/whatever, and then apply that same rule to all of those flags at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to move very fast in an AI driven environment and still safely gate changes and test/iterate without affecting end users.

Turn features on and off in seconds, with no redeploy

    Reviewed on Oct 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly gives our team the confidence to release often while keeping production stable. Staggered rollouts managed by LD flags help us control and mitigate any unwanted production downtimes. Simple to use and easy to navigate UI makes it easy to adapt. LaunchDarkly MCP and Slack automations is also an added advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is Targeting rules can be confusing when many services share a flag. It’s hard to see why a flag gave a certain value. Old flags pile up - there should be feature to automate archival flags when not in use. The price can go up quickly as the team and usage grow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We release more often and with more confidence. Fewer customers are affected when something goes wrong. Incidents are fixed faster because turning a flag off is quick and safe. Product and support teams can control feature access without asking engineers for a new release.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature flags, rollout features, shared dynamic config for apps can't develop app without these

Intuitive Dashboard, Instant Changes, Perfect for Feature Handling

    Reviewed on Oct 06, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the LaunchDarkly dashboard is easy to use and that changes propagate immediately. The feature flags are also highly valuable as they allow easy setup and enable team members to independently check and toggle configurations. It was quick to get used to, taking only half a day for setup and learning segments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if there is a guide for mobile Flutter setup, but that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LaunchDarkly lets me serve my apps to different customers easily, and the tool's easy setup and intuitive dashboard mean quick changes anyone can manage, thanks to the powerful feature flags.
