CASK - Automotive Dealer Workshop and Aftersales Platform (BYOC)

     Info
    Deployed on AWS
CASK is a multi-tenant, AI-assisted workshop and aftersales management platform for automotive dealers and service networks, deployed as a container in your own AWS account (Bring Your Own Cloud). It runs the full service lifecycle, including appointments, service orders and job cards, technician and bay scheduling, parts and inventory, invoicing, and customer communications. It adds AI-assisted advisors and a scalable, agentic-ready architecture for governed workflow automation.

    Overview

CASK is a production-grade, AI-assisted workshop and aftersales management platform built for automotive dealers, multi-brand service networks, and independent workshops. It is delivered as a container image that you deploy in your own AWS account under a Bring Your Own Cloud model, so your operational data stays in your environment while you run on infrastructure you control.

CASK manages the complete service lifecycle. It covers appointments and check-in, including scheduling, customer and vehicle capture, and verified vehicle-to-customer linking. It runs service orders and job cards with a quotation-to-order flow, per-line approvals during a repair, and status tracking across bays and technicians. It provides technician, bay, and resource scheduling with time-range rostering and double-booking prevention enforced at the database level. It manages parts and inventory, including stock, transfers, lots and shelf-life on a FIFO basis, stock counts, and over-the-counter parts sales. It handles invoicing and finance, including customer invoicing, advances and deposits, discounts, packages and menu pricing, and tax handling. It supports customer communications such as service reminders, status updates, feedback capture, and gate-pass issuance. It also covers complaints and warranty through case management, pre-delivery inspection, and free-service claims.

CASK includes AI-assisted advisors that support service advisors, managers, and planners with recommendations and insights. These advisors are designed with a human-in-the-loop approach and make no automated changes to core records. The platform is built on a scalable, agentic-ready architecture that is being extended with governed automation such as agent-assisted roster planning, dealer onboarding, and support-ticket routing. In this model, agents prepare and propose the work, and a person approves it before anything is committed. Every agent action is tenant-scoped, permission-bound, and audited, so automation scales without giving up control.

CASK is multi-tenant, with per-tenant data isolation, role-based access control, and token-based authentication with policy-based authorization. It runs on Amazon ECS with a PostgreSQL database on Amazon RDS and a Redis cache. You deploy the vendor-published container image into your own VPC. No source code is shared, and the image is promoted unchanged through your environments.

CASK is configured for India-first operations, including GST tax handling, HSN and SAC codes, GSTIN capture, and IRP e-invoicing, and it uses a country-pack architecture so it can be extended to other regions. It supports Cars and Trucks service operations, selected per deployment.

CASK is offered through AWS Marketplace on a contract basis, and enterprise and OEM agreements are handled through private offers with vendor-assisted deployment. To get started, you subscribe, deploy the container into your AWS account with vendor onboarding support, and provision your first tenant.

    Highlights

    • Built for OEM dealer networks at scale. One multi-tenant deployment serves your entire national dealer network and grows from a single workshop to more than 1,000 dealers. Dealer-level isolation and role-based access keep every dealer independent under centralized OEM control. Brand and country variation ships as configuration packs with no code forks, and the current release embeds India GST with HSN and SAC support, so market rollouts are faster and compliant.
    • Internal SaaS in your own AWS cloud (BYOC). CASK deploys as containers into your own AWS account, giving you full ownership of infrastructure, data, and operational control. Your dealer network data stays within your environment and is encrypted with your own keys. A governed integration hub connects ERP, CRM, and OEM systems without ever blocking core workshop operations. CASK is offered on a contract basis, with enterprise and OEM agreements handled through private offers.
    • AI-assisted and agentic-ready by design. CASK includes AI-assisted advisors for service advisors, managers, and planners, built with a human-in-the-loop approach and no automated changes to core records. It runs on a scalable, agentic-ready architecture that is being extended with governed automation such as roster planning, dealer onboarding, and support-ticket routing, where agents propose the work and a person approves before anything is committed.

Each dealer or investor becomes a separate tenant with its own users, data, and access control, and can run several locations.
The base license covers up to 200 workshop locations for one brand, country, and vehicle segment. Adding more locations, brands, countries, vehicle segments, or OEM network agreements is arranged through private offers rather than the standard listing. • Amazon ECS
    Container image

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.

    Usage instructions

    1. Subscribe, then contact support@plinthoslab.com  with your AWS account ID. You will receive an onboarding pack covering network readiness, infrastructure sizing, and the deployment checklist for your country, brand, and segment configuration.

    2. Authenticate to the AWS Marketplace registry and pull both images: aws ecr get-login-password --region us-east-1 | docker login --username AWS --password-stdin 709825985650.dkr.ecr.us-east-1.amazonaws.com docker pull 709825985650.dkr.ecr.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/plinthoslab-technologies-private/cask-platform-backend:1.0.4 docker pull 709825985650.dkr.ecr.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/plinthoslab-technologies-private/cask-platform-frontend:1.0.4

    3. Provision a PostgreSQL database on Amazon RDS, a Redis cache, and an Amazon ECS cluster with a load balancer in your VPC, per the reference architecture in the onboarding pack.

    4. Create an ECS service for each image. The backend API listens on port 80 (health check: /health); the frontend listens on port 8080 and proxies API requests to the backend. Application settings are supplied as environment variables per the onboarding pack.

    5. In the backend task definition, set CASK_DEPLOYMENT_CHANNEL=marketplace and CASK_LM_PRODUCT_SKU=prod-jwf3rn5hjuwpy, and grant the ECS task role the AWS License Manager permissions listed in the onboarding pack. This validates your subscription at startup.

    6. PlinthosLab then provisions your initial tenants with you and runs a joint acceptance test. For assistance at any step, contact support@plinthoslab.com .
