Jira Makes Ticket Tracking and Status Workflows Smooth and Structured

    Reviewed on Oct 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
In Jira, I can create tickets and assign them to team members, set priorities, add descriptions, and track their status throughout the development process. Testers can also create tickets and assign them to me, and then I pick up my tickets in priority order. If needed, I can comment on a ticket, attach screenshots, and tag the team.

The drag-and-drop feature is very good. I can easily update a ticket’s status by dragging and dropping it. The best part is that it enforces a process: we can’t move or change a ticket’s status directly from Open to Done. We have to move it to Dev Complete first, then QA, and only then to Done, which helps prevent tickets from being moved to the wrong status.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira’s interface can feel complicated, with so many settings that it sometimes becomes difficult for me as a beginner. Creating or updating tasks can also take too many steps when I just want to make a quick change. At times, pages take a while to load as well, especially when I’m working with large projects or boards that contain many tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, I was using an Excel sheet to manage task tickets. As the number of tickets grew, it became much harder to find a specific ticket, and we also weren’t receiving any notifications when a ticket was assigned to me or when there were changes to a ticket. After using Jira, I receive email notifications whenever someone assigns a ticket to me, so I can work accordingly.

I can also easily update the ticket status and log time spent on the ticket. In addition, I can comment, attach screenshots, and mention or tag the team directly in the ticket, which is very helpful for project management and saves a lot of time.

Great Visibility and Notifications for Easy Ticket Tracking in Jira

    Reviewed on Oct 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is the notifications and visibility it provides. Whenever a ticket is assigned to me or there is an update, I receive a notification, which makes it easier to keep track of the ticket status. The workflow view is also helpful when I'm not sure what status to move the ticket to after testing. I also like being able to add clear comments and attachments directly to the ticket, which makes communication with the team much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t run into many issues with Jira in my day-to-day work. It’s easy to use, and it makes tracking tickets straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps me to track my testing work and makes it easier to manage tickets from assignments to completion. It gives me clear visibility into ticket status, keeps communications and updates in one place.

    Jira review

    Reviewed on Oct 14, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I know about what Jira can do is that it can connect directly or more easily to AI agents. It always finds the information about what you ask and pulls the actual latest status of any topic you are looking for at that moment. I really think that gives it a huge advantage that could keep it at the top.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most common thing to complain about is that Jira has not been used for that long in my company, a little more than a year. Not all the teams were assigned an account from the beginning, so dealing with access for new members always causes confusion and some delays for new members and teams adopting it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most useful thing I know about Jira is that it automates the creation of tickets and monitoring tools, greatly increasing the resolution of all issues or tickets compared to previous or other tools.

Flexible Project Tracking with Clear Visibility and Strong Team Collaboration

    Reviewed on Oct 13, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Jira is its flexibility in managing projects, tracking tasks, and prioritizing work. It provides clear visibility into progress, helps teams collaborate effectively, and makes it easier to identify bottlenecks and meet deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Jira is that it can be complex and overwhelming for new users. The interface is sometimes unintuitive, and configuring workflows, filters, and dashboards can take time. Additionally, managing too many issues and notifications can create unnecessary overhead and make it harder to focus on priorities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps me organize tasks, track project progress, and manage priorities in one place. It improves team collaboration, provides clear visibility into responsibilities and deadlines, and makes it easier to identify bottlenecks. This saves time, reduces miscommunication, and helps me stay organized and deliver work more efficiently.
