What I like best about Jira is how well it helps structure and track work across teams. It makes it easy to manage tasks, sprints, and backlogs in a clear and organized way. I find the issue tracking very effective because I can quickly see status, priorities, and progress in real time. The workflows are also flexible, so they can be adapted to different team processes, which makes it useful for both simple and complex projects.

What I dislike about Jira is that it can feel overly complex for simple project tracking. The large number of configuration options and workflow settings can be overwhelming at first, and it often takes time to set things up properly. I also find that navigation can sometimes feel slow or cluttered, especially in larger projects with many boards, issues, and filters.

Jira solves the problem of issue monitoring and tracking the progress of new development, and it captures requirements efficiently.

It is super easy and user-friendly, very handy to track the ticket details even on mobile devices

It sometimes feel very laggy, especially when theres a lot of stuff to render on the screen and we have a background image set for the organization.

The performance and overall workflow are clearly tracked and kept up to date for the team, so everyone has a better idea of the current status.

Sometimes it presents a very technical way of implementing filters, which can be difficult for someone who doesn’t have in-depth knowledge of how to use this Jira platform. Because of that, it’s hard for them to navigate and set up what they need. A good solution would be to have some AI integrated that can help apply the commands I want when working with filters.

Overall, transparency and cross-team collaboration become easier because everyone can get the same idea at the same time, which is really helpful.

Being not fully able to delete a task if it was opened by mistake or not needed

The boards and task views are intuitive, and being able to organize, prioritize, and update tasks in one place saves a lot of time. Whether it's a quick daily check-in or planning out a sprint, Jira keeps everything visible and organized.

Highly recommend it to any team that wants a reliable, structured way to stay on top of their work.

What do you dislike about the product?

One thing I'd love to see improved is more granular permission controls. Right now, anyone on the team can edit trackers, which can lead to unintended changes. Having the ability to restrict editing to specific roles or users would make it even more reliable for team-wide use.

Overall, still a highly recommended tool for any team looking to bring structure to their daily work!

Before Jira, tasks would slip through the cracks and team visibility was a mess — we relied on scattered spreadsheets and endless email threads. Jira fixed all of that. Now everyone knows what they're working on, deadlines are clear, and nothing gets lost. It's made our day-to-day collaboration a lot smoother and more accountable.
