Highly Customizable Yet Overwhelming Initially
Reviewed on Aug 15, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Jira really helps our team stay organized and on track with tasks. The customizable workflows are a big highlight for me, making it easy to fit Jira into our way of working. They're like tailor-made maps for our projects, allowing us to define exactly how tasks move from start to finish. This flexibility perfectly matches the tool to my team's unique process. I rate the initial setup highly, giving it a 9 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface overwhelming at first, especially for new users. It has so many options that it takes time to learn. I also think the pricing can be steep for smaller teams. Improving user onboarding and simplifying some advanced features, like workflow configuration, could make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps our team stay organized, managing and tracking work efficiently. Customizable workflows fit Jira into our way, matching the tool to our unique processes.

Essential Project Tracker with Powerful Reporting
Reviewed on Aug 14, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
I use Jira mainly for ticket assignments and as a project tracker. I appreciate the task assignment feature, which really helps with the overall report of the project and understanding the status of projects. I like how it tracks the current status and the team's task completion ability. The 'rovo' (perhaps 'roadmap' or a similar feature) and automation are the features I like the most. The charts are useful for providing updates to the management team, and as a product manager, I need to check if the team is actually performing well and in the right direction. I also like that I can connect Jira with Slack, so I get instant updates on any changes and can create issues through Slack chats. The initial setup was not a hassle since we used Jira Cloud with the default template of ticketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation workflow in Jira can be confusing to create. It would be great if I could use Rovo to create automation workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira for task assignment and project tracking. It provides project status, tracks current status, and monitors team task completion. We switched from Trello because Jira better handles collaboration across multiple teams.

Seamless Jira–Bitbucket Integration That Streamlines Ticket Tracking
Reviewed on Aug 14, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is seamless and well-integrated with Bitbucket. Its dashboard provides a clean and intuitive interface that makes it easy to organise and manage tickets. It also allows me to update ticket statuses according to the defined workflow. The most important aspect I like about Jira is its seamless integration with other applications, which makes the overall development and project management process much more efficient.
It also significantly improves the overall workflow. As a developer, I can easily track my assigned tasks, see which tasks are currently in progress, identify completed or closed tasks, and keep track of what needs to be worked on next. This gives me a clear overview of my work and helps me stay organised and focused.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that can sometimes make Jira a little difficult to use is the comment section. There is an additional formatting option that allows users to make comments stand out by adding colours, headings, and other formatting. However, to use these features, you need to write the comment using Jira’s specific text-formatting syntax. You then have to save the comment and check how it appears, which can sometimes feel inconvenient and less intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my organisation, Jira plays an important role in helping developers, QA teams, and managers organise and manage the entire sprint. It allows us to track tickets, update their status, monitor progress, and maintain visibility across the team. Its integration with Bitbucket also makes it easier to connect development activities with the corresponding tickets.
Overall, Jira has become an essential part of our workflow, and it would be quite difficult to manage and track the entire development process efficiently without it.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is how it makes it easy to organize and track work in one place. I find the issue tracking, task assignment, and overall project visibility especially helpful for staying organized, monitoring progress, and making sure important items don’t get overlooked.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Jira is that it can feel a bit complex at first, especially for new users who aren’t familiar with project-management tools. There are also a lot of settings and customization options, which can sometimes make the interface feel cluttered or overly busy. That said, once it’s configured properly, it becomes much easier to navigate and use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps me solve the challenge of keeping tasks, issues, priorities, and overall project progress organized in one place. It gives me clearer visibility into what needs to be done, who is responsible for each item, and what stage it’s currently in. As a result, I can stay on top of my work, track progress more effectively, and reduce the chances of important tasks being missed or overlooked.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Jira for continuous tracking until issue resolution. After raising an issue in Jira, I can track it on a daily basis, seeing my problem's status, whether it's stuck, and how much it has been solved. It's been very handy for me once I got the hang of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now for me.

Dangerous goods master data ticket management via Jira
Reviewed on Aug 11, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very user friendly, and I didn't need someone for onboarding of how to use it. For pricing unfortunately I don't know, but it is mandatory for our ticket systems. AI non existent here, or at least I'm not aware of it. The performance is great and I've never had any issues. Integrations into my work in terms of outlook notifications works great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Please see my feedback on the last question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is used as ticket system for dangerous goods master data management.

Unmatched Customizability for Agile Workflows
Reviewed on Aug 11, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Jira’s greatest strength is its unmatched customizability for Agile workflows. Whether you follow Scrum, Kanban, or a hybrid approach, Jira can be tailored to fit your exact process. The ability to create complex workflows, automate repetitive tasks (via automation rules), and configure distinct issue types allows teams to work exactly how they want.
What do you dislike about the product?
The primary drawback is its steep learning curve and complexity. Jira is not an intuitive tool for new users; setting it up correctly requires a dedicated administrator, and onboarding new team members often takes significant time. This leads to "Jira bloat," where projects and fields become disorganized if not strictly managed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now operate within a single source of truth. The stakeholders, our team of instructional designers has real-time visibility into our progress without needing status meetings, and we have immediate clarity on their priorities and expectations. This has drastically reduced administrative overhead and miscommunication.

What do you dislike about the product?
