  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Jira's flexible workflows, which allow us to adapt it to any project style and agile boards that help plan and monitor progress efficiently. The powerful issue tracking ensures no bug or task is missed. I appreciate the customizable sprints and detailed reporting, which provide insights into team performance. The integration with development tools streamlines our entire workflow, making project management and team collaboration seamless. Jira is indispensable for managing complex software projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some downsides of Jira are its steep learning curve, sometimes slow interface on large projects, and complex setup for custom workflows. Reporting and dashboard could also be more intuitive for non-technical team members.

Jira Makes Agile Management Straightforward With a Clean UI and Helpful AI Features

  • March 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jira is purpose-built for Agile project management, and it makes managing an Agile project feel straightforward. I also appreciate the new AI features they’ve integrated into the app, which make it easier to add more detail to tickets when needed. On top of that, I love how clean the UI is—it’s easy to move through projects and navigate between different tickets without getting lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Jira is that I have to integrate a separate application for team communication, like Slack. I’d really love it if everything could be kept in one application, because it would make it easier to address issues and blockers, and to share documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps me manage complex eCommerce projects and products in a clean, intuitive application. This benefits me because I don’t have to rely on clunky tools that feel intimidating or are hard for my development team to use.

Jira Keeps Complex IoT Projects Organized with Clear Task Tracking

  • March 25, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
i use Jira to manage tasks related to device development, firmware updates and system integrations, it helps to organise work across hardware, software and cloud components. o use ticketing daily,. i create tickets for device issues, sensors data problems, firmware bugs, and integration tasks, this ensures proper tracking of issues across different component. the boards are very useful for tracking development stages like design, testing , deployment and maintenance, it gives clear visibility into project progress. i also use epics and tasks breakdown to manage large IOT projects , for ex, a project be divided into device setup, connectivity, data processing and monitoring tasks, also the attachment and documentation features, i can attack logs configuration, or error reports to tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
setting up worflow for hardware, software and cloud integration can be complicated and often requires customisation, UI can be overwhelming with many fields, statuses and options, the interface can feels clutteredf, especially when handling multiple device related tickets, it team memmebr dont update tickets regularly tracking become inaccurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it solves the problem of managing complex. multi component IOT workflows by bringing all tasks, issues and updates into one structured system. in my IOT projects, issues can come from hardware, firmware or cloud systems, tracking them through emails or chats becomes messy. but with Jira centralizes all issues in one place, making it easy to track device bugs, sensor failure, and integration problems. there was lack of visibility across teams. but jira provides, shared boards and tickets visibility , improving collaboration and alignment across teams. there was very difficulty in managing complex projects, but now using epics, tasks and workflow , jira helps to break down large projects into manageable parts and track progress effectively.

Engineering projects, simplified our experience with jira

  • March 25, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Jira for its ability to bring complete structure and clarity to complex workflows, especially in engineering and mechanical design. It's highly customizable, allowing each stage from concept design validation to approval to be mapped precisely, ensuring nothing skips a step. This level of control makes the process more disciplined and reduces errors. I also find Jira's dashboard and reporting features beneficial, as they provide a real-time view of project status, pending tasks, and bottlenecks, making it easier to stay on top of deadlines and quickly address issues before they escalate. I appreciate how well Jira supports collaboration, allowing team members to commit, tag others, attach design files, and maintain all communication within the task, which avoids scattered conversations. Additionally, its issue tracking capability is extremely effective for logging, prioritizing, and tracking resolutions for design flaws, change requests, or manufacturing concerns, improving accountability and overall quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can be complex for new users, especially those not from a software background. The interface and configuration options can initially feel overwhelming and often require training to fully utilize its capabilities. Performance can be an issue when dealing with large projects and multiple attachments, as it can feel slow and impact productivity. Handling large design files isn't ideal since Jira isn't naturally optimized for CAD drawings, necessitating integration with external tools. Customization, while powerful, can be a drawback as setting up workflows, permissions, and dashboards requires admin expertise, making quick adjustments less flexible. Lastly, reporting can feel limited without additional configuration or plugins and generating detailed reports can require extra effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is our central hub for project management, helping organize workflows, manage tasks, and track changes. It ensures transparency, reduces confusion around version control, and enhances cross-functional collaboration. We identify critical issues in real-time, improving decision-making and meeting tight deadlines.

Centralized QA Management with Room for Improvement

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Jira for tracking and managing my QA work end to end, which is really helpful for logging and triaging bugs, and collaborating with developers and product teams on priorities. I like that it solves the problem of scattered communication by bringing the team together to contribute ideas in one place. It's great for planning and monitoring various stories and bugs. I also appreciate that it's one source of truth for the team; it's our starting point every day and we return to it during every discussion to record our development process. The initial setup was really easy, which I found very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
When logging QA bugs, it takes time because there are a lot of fields that are populated but not really necessary for the bug. Also, it would be nice if we could understand duplicates at the time of logging itself, and not wait for it to be reviewed and then found out. A better way of duplicate detection while logging the bug or story would be great. Often, there are multiple QAs working, and during testing, there could be duplicate bugs logged, which ends up with different points of reference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to track and manage QA work, log and triage bugs, and ensure smooth team communication. It centralizes ideas and supports planning and monitoring of stories and bugs.
