The c4 sizes (large, xlarge, 2xlarge, 4xlarge, 8xlarge) scale compute-focused capacity for heavier processing. Hourly charges rise as you move to larger instances. You get a running EC2 instance with MantisBT preinstalled on Windows Server 2016. The hourly rate covers one active instance of the chosen size. The t2 sizes provide general-purpose compute. The c4 sizes provide compute-focused capacity. You connect over RDP and access MantisBT through a browser.
The hourly software charge meters running time only. A stopped instance stops accruing the software fee. You may still pay underlying AWS fees for attached storage and an allocated Elastic IP. To avoid all charges, terminate the instance rather than leaving it stopped.
