Overview
Velogent AI by Aivar Innovations is an enterprise platform for building, orchestrating, and governing AI-assisted business processes. It combines AI agents, business rules, enterprise integrations, and human review in configurable workflows, helping organizations automate document-intensive operations with oversight and traceability.
Velogent's application and workflow execution components are deployed in the customer's AWS account. Teams can connect workflows to enterprise systems and configure model endpoints, access permissions, validation policies, and approval requirements for their business processes.
Using the visual workflow designer, teams can combine document ingestion, classification, information retrieval, reasoning, validation, system actions, and approvals in a single process. Workflows can be initiated through APIs, webhooks, schedules, or human submission. Written standard operating procedures can serve as a starting point for workflow creation, with teams reviewing and refining the resulting flows before deployment.
Velogent supports multi-agent orchestration within structured workflows. Agents can retrieve information, invoke tools, interact with connected enterprise systems, and coordinate tasks within configured process controls. Model endpoints can be selected for individual tasks to support different classification, reasoning, and validation requirements.
Key capabilities include:
-
Visual workflow design: Combine agent, tool, conditional, and human-input nodes to build processes with defined execution paths, business rules, and exception handling.
-
Document processing and contextual retrieval: Ingest enterprise document formats, classify incoming work, and retrieve relevant information from connected databases, document sources, and vector or graph knowledge bases.
-
ReVAct governance: Apply validation before and after agent actions using configurable rules and evaluators. Depending on the configured policy, exceptions can trigger retries, human review, or blocked actions. Decision records capture inputs, evidence, validation results, and rationale for review.
-
Human-in-the-loop review: Pause workflows at approval checkpoints and provide reviewers with execution context and supporting evidence. Resume processing after a decision, with confidence-based escalation and review options configured for each process.
-
Enterprise integration: Connect to CRM, ERP, and other business applications through connectors, REST APIs, webhooks, and Model Context Protocol tools. Expose workflows through APIs for integration into existing applications.
-
Evaluation and simulation: Evaluate tools, agents, and complete workflows using test datasets and configurable evaluation criteria before deployment.
-
Access and change controls: Manage access through scoped roles and isolated workspaces. Use workflow versioning and environment separation to control changes between development and production.
-
Operational visibility: Inspect execution history, model calls, tool results, decisions, exceptions, and approvals. Monitor workflow performance and execution costs to support troubleshooting and process improvement.
Velogent supports long-running processes through checkpointing, resume capabilities, and retries. Its API and execution tiers can scale independently to accommodate changing workload volumes.
Use cases include customer email classification and response preparation, insurance claims processing, customer onboarding and KYC workflows, credit underwriting support, invoice reconciliation, three-way matching, and other processes requiring coordination across documents, enterprise systems, AI agents, and human reviewers. Integrations, model access, business rules, and approval requirements are configured for each implementation.
Velogent software charges are billed through AWS Marketplace according to the selected offer. Customers are responsible for applicable AWS infrastructure and service charges incurred in their AWS account, which are billed separately from the Velogent software charges.
Highlights
- ReVAct Governance for Every Agent Action: Every agent action passes through pre-action and post-action validation gates that check relevance, validity, and permissions before execution and verify correct completion afterward. Heterogeneous validators - including mathematical checks, code rules, traditional ML, LLM-as-a-judge, and adversarial judges - ensure no model reviews its own output. Deviations trigger immediate remediation.
- Deploy Anywhere with Full Data Control: Velogent runs as containerized services on any container platform, deploying fully inside your own cloud account, on-premises infrastructure, or in a hybrid configuration. The platform is model-agnostic, connecting to any major AI provider, self-hosted open-source models, or domain-specific custom models. Agents built on other cloud runtimes import as nodes, preserving existing investments while adding orchestration, governance, and evaluation on top.
- Rapid Workflow Design with Built-In Evaluation: A drag-and-drop canvas or Build with AI converts a written SOP into a working workflow in minutes. Before deployment, a simulation suite generates 50+ synthetic test cases and runs three-level evaluations at the tool, agent, and end-to-end workflow levels. Aiva process intelligence learns from executions and human decisions - in one deployment it cut an 84-step process to 42 steps within a day.
