This product has charges associated with it for seller support. A high-performance, enterprise-grade openEuler Linux AMI specifically optimized for x86_64 architecture. Built with Legacy BIOS and GPT partitioning, it ensures seamless support for storage volumes over 2TB while delivering a secure, cloud-native foundation for mission-critical workloads.

    Overview

This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for extended support.

This product is an AWS AMI (Amazon Machine Image) built upon openEuler, a leading open-source, enterprise-grade Linux distribution. It is designed to provide a high-performance, secure, and cloud-optimized operating system solution for diverse computing scenarios.

Through deep kernel-level optimizations and systematic security hardening, we ensure that instances are in an optimal state upon launch. This image is fully compatible with multiple CPU architectures, including x86 and ARM (AWS Graviton), ensuring reliability for mission-critical workloads.

    Technical Specifications & Compatibility

Boot & Compatibility Optimization To ensure seamless performance and reliable booting within the AWS infrastructure (where TPCM is not present), this image is specifically configured to use Legacy BIOS instead of UEFI. By pairing this with a GPT partition table, we provide full support for high-capacity storage volumes exceeding 2TB, ensuring a stable and scalable experience for enterprise users.

System and Partition Configuration The system supports both Standard Partitioning and LVM (Logical Volume Management) layouts. The root filesystem is available in either ext4 or XFS formats. Each image is rigorously optimized for performance and stability based on its respective filesystem structure.

Note: Please refer to the Product Title to confirm the specific partition layout and filesystem type for this version.

    Key Features

    • Automatic Performance Tuning: Upon startup, the system automatically applies a suite of lightweight kernel optimizations tailored to the detected instance type. These adjustments span compute, storage, and network layers to ensure peak efficiency.
    • Security & AWS Integration: The system comes pre-integrated with the AWS Systems Manager Agent (SSM Agent), enabling secure, credential-free management and automated operations.
    • Firewall Configuration: For maximum out-of-the-box accessibility, the OS firewall is disabled by default, allowing users to define their own security boundaries via AWS Security Groups.
    • Flexible Disk Layouts: Offers a variety of filesystem (Ext4/XFS) and partition (LVM/Standard) combinations to match your workload requirements-ensure to check the Product Title for the specific version details.

    Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
