Q: What types of AWS accounts does Serverless Transit Network Orchestrator support?

A: Serverless Transit Network Orchestrator supports both AWS Organizations and standalone AWS account types.

Q: Does this solution support cross account inter-Region AWS Transit Gateway peering connection attachment?

A: No. The AWS Transit Gateway peering connection attachments are limited to the single (network) account where the hub template is deployed.

Q: Can I provide my own list of CIDR blocks to update the route tables associated with the subnet included in the AWS Transit Gateway attachment?

A: Yes, version 2.0 of this solution includes an AWS CloudFormation template that allows you to enter a comma-separated list of CIDR blocks in the CloudFormation parameters used to update the route tables associated with the subnet.

Q: Can I deploy the Serverless Transit Network Orchestrator solution in any AWS Region?

A: You must deploy this solution in a Region that supports AWS AppSync, Amazon Cognito, AWS Transit Gateway, and Amazon EventBridge. For the most current service availability by Region, see AWS service offerings by Region.
