Hosting Wowza Streaming Engine instances on Amazon EC2 is ideally suited to streaming of live events, one-to-many training, webinars, and company meetings and more, due to this setup's global reach. It is also an excellent choice for adding overflow capacity to your own dedicated Wowza software deployments, and for cost-constrained organizations that need the flexibility of starting small but the available capacity to cost-effectively scale as their business grows. With prebuilt Wowza AMIs that can be launched in any Amazon EC2 operational region, using Wowza Streaming Engine software on Amazon EC2 is simple.     Pricing is based on a fixed monthly subscription cost and actual usage of the product. You pay the same amount each month for access, plus an additional monthly amount for usage. Usage charges vary according to how much you consume. The fixed subscription cost is prorated, so you're only charged for the number of days you've been subscribed. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time.

    What do you like best about the product?
    This enables to stream video and audio any device or location. Supports a variety of streaming protocols. It can process massages at scale with high throughput and low latency.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    It required manual adjustments to thing like streaming parameters.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    I'm working with variety of devices such as laptop, smart phone and tablet. This platform supports those varieties of devices.

    What do you like best about the product?
    This solution offers on-premise and cloud hosted streaming option which help me to enable low latency streaming experiance for one of major customer. As project manager , i was able to fulfill customer requirments with Wowza which is high quality product , futhermore customer support is next level.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    When implmenting this solution in our customer envoiremnt , The on-premise impletation process took a long time period to complete the implementaion.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    On of our customer required to having solution to live stream their online betting business among the centers island wide. We proposed the wowza as a live streaming solution and we were able to deploy Wowza server in their envviornment which has been able to enable high quality video streaming for thier businness. The Customer feedback was very good for this solution and someone looking a for a video streaming with low latancy this is the ideal solution.

    How it has become more stable with less memory leaks over time
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Reviewing log files when issues occur or WSE crashes.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    We ingest camera streams from a variety of churches in different countries and Wowza performs the live streaming and also allows us to record services in those churches.

    What do you like best about the product?
    We've been using Wowza to serve out videos on demand for over 4 years now. Rock solid software with some great security features too. The engine itself is customizable via a Java plugin if you need more advanced features!
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Very few downsides. Perhaps pricing, depending on how many instances you need to run - but not an issue at our scale.

    Wowza is our video player that serves out video on demand to our customers.
