Has brought autonomy to business processes by connecting humans, automation, and AI agents

    Reviewed on Sep 09, 2025
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use cases for UiPath Platform  are in Business Hyperautomation. We are implementers and also the customers.

    What is most valuable?

Each process is different, so UiPath Platform  is the enterprise-level platform which helps automate everything, from simple processes to the most complex ones.

For my usage, I find Document Understanding, AI Fabric , Agentic AI, and Process Mining  as the most useful features. I use Agentic Automation  to bring automation to a more autonomous level by leveraging its ability to integrate people, robots, and AI agents to automate processes.

I use Agentic Automation  for level one support, understanding all the issues raised by the client and providing responses to them, fixes to them, and prioritizing them better.

It's very easy to build automations using UiPath Platform. This enterprise-level UiPath Platform has great maturity, has all the functionality there, and has a comprehensive library of courses, which are split into paths.

If you are a business developer or architect, it's easy to learn and understand how to use the platform. The courses are free. They also have the Copilot, which, now with natural language, can help build automations. The solution enables users to implement end-to-end automation.

    What needs improvement?

More maturity on the Agentic AI part and the Maestro would be beneficial; however, it will come with time.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been in IT since 2005 and in UiPath specifics since 2019.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

In the last years, the latest releases have been very stable from my perspective.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We are able to automate our mundane tasks and we gain many hours back. UiPath Platform helped reduce the time invested by humans in doing business processes. This time is now involved in scaling other processes, so we scaled the operations, either internally as a direct customer or for our clients. The solution is easy to scale.

How are customer service and support?

In some cases, we couldn't understand why the platform behaves in certain ways, and we had to ask for their support. We either contacted their support directly or created an item, and their support team got back to us. For us, the support was acceptable; sometimes it was challenging since we did not operate in the same time zone, which resulted in delayed responses. However, other than that, everything was fine.

I would rate the support an 8.5 out of ten.

How would you rate customer service and support?

    Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We are also using Power Platform in parallel.

We have had internal training. We are on the Fast Track partnership with UiPath, so we learned about the platform from the beginning, and then we implemented it and were already accustomed to what's there.

    How was the initial setup?

    The deployment process is straightforward.

    What about the implementation team?

If you have a great infrastructure engineer, that's enough to handle the implementation. However, it also depends on the security levels in each company. If they have access to everything, they are able to implement. If there are restrictions, it might not be allowed. Still, typically one person is enough to deploy.

    What was our ROI?

If we translate those hours into costs, the tool has helped me to save costs for both me and for the customers.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I did consider the price reasonable. Nowadays, with their latest list price, I'm worried about how they are addressing the market. It seems that they are changing how they want to position themselves.

What other advice do I have?

In one POC, we have used Communications Mining features, however, due to the cost, we did not consider it further to move into production.

On a scale of one to ten, I rate UiPath Platform an eight.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Hybrid Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Intelligent automation has transformed decision-making and reduced human error

    Reviewed on Sep 08, 2025
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My use case with UiPath Platform  depends on the customer, as I am an expert architect. I build applications, build projects, help customers provide business solutions, ask questions, answer questions, and resolve issues.

    What is most valuable?

The best features in UiPath Platform  are the Agentic Robots, which provide a kind of intelligence.

UiPath Platform offers excellent support and training. They provide free training, unlike Blue Prism . I worked with Blue Prism  for three years, and you have to pay for training and certificates there.

The support is good, and the price is the same as Blue Prism. For me, it is the best number one in the world for bots.

Agentic Automation  is a new technology that they built this year. Previously, with the UiPath Platform, we had a robot that we asked to do business actions, but with Agentic, the robot can think. The robot performs actions, and Agentic can make decisions if we program it to make decisions. The customer doesn't do anything. It's a revolution in AI.

My clients have replaced personnel and saved a significant amount of money. For example, I have customers who had 11 people to work, and after one year of using the UiPath Platform, they saved ten people.

We use Communication Mining features in real time for small businesses and critical businesses. We use robots to do actions in real time with supervision through Elasticsearch and Kibana to show what happened in real time. With UiPath Platform Communication Mining, we can automate actions or responses according to the type of content in the message. We can connect to an Outlook and Gmail address.

With Agentic, it can think and provide personalized answers. It's very easy to build automations with UiPath Platform for someone who doesn't have technical skills because they have UiPath for developers and UiPath for business. For teams that don't have enough knowledge in IT, building simple processes is possible. For complex processes, more IT knowledge is needed.

The UiPath user community is extensive and informative. The majority of my clients are big companies. Most businesses share architecture and need strong architecture because the cost isn't high if you choose a strong architecture. They use UiPath Academy to learn and get certificates because there are many products and options in the application.

There has been a 90% reduction in human error. For UiPath Platform, you have three components: UiPath Studio, the robot, and the orchestrator. For annual updates, the orchestrator takes one day, while the robot and Studio each take one hour.

    What needs improvement?

The area that has room for improvement in UiPath Platform is the price.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Platform for around ten years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

For stability, the orchestrator rates at ten out of ten. It is very stable. Studio rates at a nine out fo ten, and robots rate at eight out fo ten since they work only with Microsoft.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution is scalable. If you want to add machines, it's very easy. However, you have to do the architecture with a professional, not just with a developer.

How are customer service and support?

The vendor support is very good, and with all my customers, we have premium support. It rates a ten out of ten.

How would you rate customer service and support?

    Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

UiPath Platform is better than Blue Prism. Blue Prism's training isn't free. You have to pay to get information, and they don't have cloud. They built their cloud two or three years before, so they are behind.

    How was the initial setup?

The ease of the deployment depends on whether you want to know about developers or architecture. For architecture, I am alone for all customers. I administer the platform, install the production, and perform all tasks related to production. For developers, it depends on the customer. I have customers who have ten, 20, or even 50 developers.

The solution requires maintenance. You need the big update in a year, and depending on the customer, two or three updates in a year, with one update every three months, but you have to update once a year.

    What about the implementation team?

    What was our ROI?

I can estimate that all my customers see about a 40% return on investment. This saves about 40% of time. It depends on the process; some processes save all the time, while others save significant time.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

In the beginning, when I built the application, we didn't talk about licenses. We buy licenses, but after one year, we try to mutualize and share licenses with different customers to minimize the number of licenses and to minimize the cost of the application.

What other advice do I have?

I rate UiPath Platform ten out of ten.

Role-based access control and AI-powered automation enhance efficiency while reducing execution time

    Reviewed on Aug 28, 2025
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I use this solution to automate processes and do screen scraping, image recognition, and other tasks.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath Platform helps significantly in automating manual tasks. It reduces the workforce and the execution time required for operational tasks, so it provides good support.

    What is most valuable?

The best feature about UiPath Platform  is the role-based control access, which I have appreciated the most because whenever we want to implement securities and compliances, we can control the access for the solution.

AI-powered automation, combined RPA  with AI, is the second best part, and the prebuilt automation concepts reduce the development time, which is the third best feature I appreciate.

The UI is very user-friendly; if you are not a techie person, you can normally use drag-and-drop flows for a designer in UiPath Platform  Studio, which is phenomenal, and when a non-technical person is going to use it, they can learn this particular process in a smooth manner.

    What needs improvement?

Sometimes, regarding the limitations, heavy-level architectures and structures are needed, such as architectural setup required to boost IT support for long-scale automation. The learning curve, while low-code advanced automation is related to AI and ML, requires substantial technical knowledge. There could be some performance issues, such as automation breaking when UI elements change frequently, so these are limitations which I face, and these are the areas where UiPath Platform can improve.

The license pricing is very high, so compared to other competitors such as Automation Anywhere  or Power Automate , it could be more competitive if these things were matched with the competitors.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Platform for the past three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The stability rates at eight out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability is impressive. Enterprise automation for small and large projects is easy, which is phenomenal.

We have 500 users using the solution.

How are customer service and support?

I would rate their technical support a nine out of ten. Logistic support and integration is quite smooth; every time I required support, the support team was available and provided me with whatever assistance was required.

How would you rate customer service and support?

    Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Blue Prism is one of the solutions that I have used, but it is less flexible for citizen users. The second solution I have used besides UiPath Platform is Microsoft Power Automate .

    How was the initial setup?

The deployment was easy. It doesn't require any maintenance.

    What was our ROI?

It has reduced operational times and costs, particularly concerning manpower and the repetitive time needed to establish any process. It has positively impacted us and provided us with excellent solutions with phenomenal processing time. This was precisely what I needed.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

It is expensive and not competitive compared to other competitor tools.

What other advice do I have?

I have been using UiPath Platform for the past three years, and my experience is quite good with these process automation tools; I highly recommend this.

Users can utilize it because the UI is very simple and easy to use for non-technical persons. It helps overcome all the limitations, and the stability is very high, so it is reusable for multiple processes and purposes. I recommend all users to use it.

My overall rating for UiPath Platform is 8 out of 10.

Effective automation and document processing improve workflows

    Reviewed on Aug 28, 2025
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

The best features of UiPath Platform include their document extracting technique and OCR, which are highly effective, as well as their data management and implementation methods. Their exception handling capabilities are particularly strong in this regard. The valuable features of UiPath Studio that have helped in designing automation processes include document understanding to process or scan documents, recent authentic automation that's currently in high demand, and their UI apps integrated with the studio, along with their assistance to trigger the process from the client side.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath Orchestrator has been essential in managing automated tasks for my organization, as it is a must-use feature. Without the orchestrator, I cannot control my project or automation. If I want to trigger the process either by time or any event, I have to use the orchestrator to check the status of the jobs running and the output. Additionally, if an exception occurs, I can only see it on the orchestrator; it is a crucial component, as without it, I cannot monitor my jobs.

    What is most valuable?

The best features of UiPath Platform include their document extracting technique and OCR capabilities. UiPath Studio has been valuable in designing automation processes through its document understanding functionality, authentic automation capabilities, and UI apps integration. The orchestrator has proven essential for managing automated tasks, controlling projects, and monitoring job status and exceptions.

    What needs improvement?

There needs to be more user use cases in their demo, as the current use cases are very basic. They should include moderate use cases with varying difficulty because implementing a project using only simple use cases is insufficient. They have numerous features that cannot be covered completely in their tutorial, so adding instructions and small videos about particular features or assets would enable users to understand how to use these features without requiring additional training from the academy or other portals.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for three to four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Regarding stability, I would rate it as nine because they are updating their features very frequently, which requires us to manage with their frequent releases.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability of UiPath Platform deserves a rating of nine as I haven't encountered any issues in this regard.

How are customer service and support?

The technical support for UiPath Platform deserves ten out of ten. They are available within a given time, and their support is strong, with a very robust community portal from which I can get support directly.

How would you rate customer service and support?

What other advice do I have?

When comparing UiPath Platform with other automation tools such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, and Kofax, I find that in terms of quality and features, UiPath Platform is superior. They have numerous features, and their OCRs can process handwritten documents.

On a scale from one to ten, I rate the overall solution as nine because of its frequent modifications, and developers need to stay up to date with the release documents. What stands out about UiPath Platform is its feature set compared to other tools. I would recommend this product to other users because of its extensive features. While I'm not certain about its cost comparison to others, feature-wise, it is better than its competitors. It offers multiple capabilities that some automation tools don't currently provide, so if the product is within budget, users should opt for UiPath Platform.

An easy and versatile solution for automating processes

    Reviewed on Aug 18, 2025
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I have used it mainly for document understanding and UI interactions. When invoices are being generated, my bot categorizes those invoices, extracts the information from them, updates it in the database, and stores them.

Another use case was the validation of user identity in India. We have government identity numbers and cards in India, so my bot extracts information from those cards while onboarding people onto our HRMS platform. It extracts those details, puts them into the database, validates them, and reflects them back onto the front end.

How has it helped my organization?

Our team has been working primarily on AI integration and moving from RPA  towards IPA. It has been helping us build a robust system where, instead of just basic logic, we started using AI implementations that can make decisions for our bots and proceed further.

We have developed a process automation system for calculating churn risk. This system is part of our internal product. Whenever we receive support tickets from our clients, we track these tickets to analyze the sentiment behind them. Our goal is to understand what clients are trying to convey and the tone they use in their communications. We conduct sentiment analysis on these tickets to determine whether clients are having a positive or negative experience with us. Based on this analysis, we create a churn risk algorithm to assess whether a client is at risk of leaving us or if they are satisfied with our services. This entire process continuously accumulates sentiment analysis data from the client tickets. If the algorithm indicates potential churn risk, the information is passed on to our support team, allowing them to effectively communicate with and assist the client.

Orchestrator helped us streamline processes. It helps us set up different types of triggers and manage our processes much more easily while also providing source control. UiPath Platform  is also super versatile. We can automate pretty much anything we want with it. There are very limited restrictions in UiPath, whereas Power Automate  is primarily focused on the Microsoft environment, which restricts our ability to explore beyond that. UiPath allows us to work with various other applications quite easily and effectively.

    What is most valuable?

UiPath Platform  is super convenient to work with. Considering it with other automation tools, it is the easiest to work with and most versatile. You can perform all types of automation by using the UiPath Platform.

    What needs improvement?

Reducing the price of the unattended licenses would be very helpful. Other than that, everything is already quite perfect. It would also be beneficial if the demos and new features they introduce were made more accessible to everyone, perhaps in an open-source format, rather than requiring registration and sign-up.

Recently, we worked with the checkout clipboard feature introduced by UiPath. This feature allows users to manually copy data from Excel and paste it onto another application, as it is directly mapped. However, I wish there were activities available in the actual UI part of Studio that we could use for integration. Currently, this feature is only available for manual usage. It would be great if they could develop additional features to enhance the process development experience.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for about three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

We have not had any issues with stability.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

For scalability, it is quite capable. We developed a process where we framed it to be as scalable as possible. As we bring in new clients, it works quite easily for us to scale it. We started off with 10 but were able to add up to hundreds of different clients. It is quite scalable, and depending on the automation done by the developer, it should be very easy to accomplish.

How are customer service and support?

I faced some issues when I was integrating Python with the UiPath Platform, and the support team was quite fast with their replies. I was able to solve that issue in less than a day. They came in handy when required.

How would you rate customer service and support?

    Positive

    How was the initial setup?

It's quite straightforward. As long as we follow the basic instructions provided by UiPath, it's pretty easy to get it set up.

I had training for a couple of weeks, but even during that time, for installation, we did not have anyone explain the process. We were provided with the link and had to install the UiPath Platform tools. It was not hard for us to navigate through the site and get it set up.

    What was our ROI?

Our company has automated many processes with the license we already have. We are able to get a return on our ROI. Since I am currently working at a startup, they cannot splurge money on licenses. Sometimes it is difficult for our developers to plan and coordinate flows to schedule in a way that would not interfere with other bots' execution. Other than that, it is totally fine and very convenient to work with.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

One of the main advantages of the UiPath Platform is its versatility; you can perform virtually any type of automation without limitations. I find it particularly convenient for UI automation because the selectors we use for UI elements work very effectively. I haven’t encountered significant difficulties when working with UI automation in this tool.

In contrast, when I’ve tried using other tools like Power Automate  or AutomationEdge , I faced challenges. These tools can make it harder to create dynamic UI interactions, especially since websites are frequently updated. As these sites change regularly, the selectors we configure may not function as consistently as before.

As developers, we strive to create dynamic selectors, but this can sometimes prevent us from delivering the most optimized and effective solutions. Overall, UiPath performs significantly better in this regard compared to tools like Power Automate and AutomationEdge .

What other advice do I have?

People with basic technical knowledge and some experience watching a few YouTube videos can gain an understanding of how UiPath works and how to automate tasks easily. UiPath also has another studio called Studio X, which is a simplified version of UiPath Studio. This makes automation accessible to anyone, not just those with extensive technical skills. So, if some people aren't very technically inclined, they can use UiPath Studio X, which is more user-friendly and makes automation easier.

Since I have worked with it very consistently, it is a very easy tool to work with, and they have many options available. Recently, I heard that people are moving towards Automation Anywhere  since the licensing costs are much lower than the UiPath Platform and other automation tools. The drawback I found with Automation Anywhere  is that we do not have access to the premium version demo. The demo that we have access to is for the community version, and it is super restricted. Based on my knowledge, I would suggest the UiPath Platform as the best automation tool for any company to start with.

I would rate UiPath Platform a nine out of ten.
