General-purpose M6a and M7a sizes range from medium through 8xlarge for larger, consistent workloads. All sizes run the same WordPress stack on Windows Server 2022. You choose the size to match your traffic and pay only for the hours you run.

Every size runs the same WordPress package on Windows Server 2022. It comes pre-installed with the database, web server, and PHP components. You connect via RDP as Administrator, then start building your site. No manual installation is needed.
You pay the software rate only for the hours your instance runs. A stopped instance stops accruing hourly software charges. AWS may still bill you for underlying storage tied to the stopped instance. The software meter counts running time only.
