Frees Up Space Easily for Photos and Documents

    Reviewed on Mar 05, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Yes, I use it for dropping documents into a driver or to zip documents. I like it because free me the space on my computer or phone, so I can update big photos!
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, if you want more space, you need to buy space, the free version works good
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, sometimes it gets slow if the document of the photo is too big, it can take time to upload to the cloud

Stupidly Simple Sync Across Devices With Lifesaving Version History

    Reviewed on Mar 04, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Stupidly simple: upload a file, it syncs, and it shows up everywhere. It’s magic-just the boring kind that works.

It’s also a cross-platform king. It runs on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS, and it even plays nice with that dusty laptop you refuse to retire.

File recovery and version history are lifesavers. Accidentally nuked your thesis? Dropbox quietly saves you from yourself.

Collaboration is solid, too: shared folders, links, and comments. Nothing flashy-just functional.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan is tiny. In 2026, 2 GB feels like handing someone a thimble at a pool party.

The pricing ramps up quickly, and if you need real storage, you’ll definitely feel it in your wallet.

Overall, it’s not exactly exciting. It’s a utility-like plumbing: important and necessary, but not something anyone brags about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    1. “Where the hell is my file?”
You saved something on your laptop. Later you’re on your phone. Panic. Dropbox syncs everything across devices automatically, so you’re not emailing yourself PDFs like it’s 2009.

    2. “My laptop died and my life is over.”
Hardware fails. Coffee spills. You rage. With Dropbox, your files are backed up in the cloud, so you don’t lose everything when your device gives up.

    3. “We’re working together but it’s chaos.”
Instead of ending up with 14 versions like:
    • final.doc
    • final_FINAL.doc
    • final_REALFINAL2.doc

You get one shared file with version history. If someone decides to freestyle, you can roll changes back without the whole project turning into a mess.

    4. “The file is too big to send.”
Email says no. Dropbox says “here’s a link.” You can send big videos, PDFs, whatever, without compressing your soul.

    5. “I deleted something and now I regret my life choices.”
Dropbox keeps previous versions and deleted files for a while, so one impulsive click doesn’t ruin your week.

    Terrible platform for file sharing

    Reviewed on Mar 04, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing, worst file sharing service we have ever used, constantly overcharging, even when on "free trial".
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything. So many other options for trustworthy and even free service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None. It has been causing problems and is now company policy not to use it, account is deleted.

User-Friendly Dropbox with Smooth Onboarding and Strong Data Protection

    Reviewed on Mar 04, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Dropbox is designed to be user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate. The setup and onboarding process was very smooth, especially with the help of their responsive customer support team. It has become an everyday tool in our arsenal and has greatly improved our data protection system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like how limited the storage is on the free plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox has reduced the manual labour required to back up and restore data in my organization. With the automation and scheduling features available on the platform, I can focus on my projects while Dropbox backs up and secures my progress behind the scenes. Overall, it has streamlined my workflow and made me more efficient in my job.

Easy CDN Connection and Generous Free 2GB Storage

    Reviewed on Mar 04, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like the free 2GB of storage and how easy it is to connect to the CDN.
What do you dislike about the product?
The login security isn’t very good, so it needs some improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content such as PDFs, images, or HTML can be easily converted into a CDN link by uploading it to Dropbox and then updating the existing CDN link with the correct path.
