Partcls flagship product, Boson, is an accelerated EDA platform for full RTL to GDSII design. Boson is developed on GPUs to enable up to 1000x speed improvements over legacy tools without compromising accuracy. Boson accepts standard design collateral including RTL, DEF files, Liberty files, PDK information from standard foundries, and generates standard output files for interoperability with existing EDA tools.
Modern chip design cycles are bottlenecked by lengthy physical design processes, limited compute resources, and manual optimization loops. These challenges can cost engineering teams weeks of effort and delay product delivery for semiconductor companies.
Partcls cloud-native, GPU-accelerated EDA suite, featuring Boson, RTL Super Optimization, and Nucleus, enables rapid physical design feedback and automated design space exploration. The platform combines AI, GPU parallelism, and modern serverless infrastructure to improve timing closure, optimize power, performance, and area (PPA), and accelerate silicon design iterations.

You pay based on the size of your chip design, measured by instance count. Pricing is charged in multiples of one million instances. There is a single usage dimension, so your cost scales with design size rather than fixed tiers or seat counts. A larger design uses more instance units and therefore more charges. This billing follows the toolkit's design, since its timing engine scales with the number of instances processed.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one instance for billing the Number of instances (M) unit?
An instance is a single element in your chip design, such as a cell or node processed by the timing engine. The toolkit counts the total instances in your design, then bills in multiples of one million. A 1.3 million-cell design counts those cells as instances.
How does my charge change as my design grows larger?
Charges scale with instance count, billed per million instances. A larger design adds more instance units and more charges. The engine scales linearly in memory and runtime, measured to millions of instances. So cost rises in step with design size, not in fixed jumps.
Does the design size cover the whole toolchain or just one stage?
The instance count reflects the full design processed, not a single step. The toolkit covers synthesis, placement, clock-tree synthesis, timing analysis, gate sizing, and buffer insertion in one flow. Your billed instance count maps to the design carried through these stages.
