This listing has one pricing dimension: Free MCP Server Units. You pay nothing to use it. The dimension is billed by units, but there is no charge attached. There are no tiers, instance sizes, or paid add-ons to choose from on AWS Marketplace. You get access to the MCP Server, which lets AI tools and connectors work with your Asana data. Because pricing is a single free option, there is nothing to scale up or configure for cost. You simply enable the server and use it at no cost.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one MCP Server Unit for billing purposes?
The dimension is measured in MCP Server Units, but each unit carries no charge. You are not billed based on how many units you consume. There is no metering that leads to a cost, so unit counting does not affect your invoice.
What does the MCP Server actually do once I enable it?
The MCP Server lets AI tools and connectors access your Asana data through a standard interface. It supports AI agents and connectors that create, update, and retrieve tasks and project information. You enable it and connect compatible AI tools to work with your workspace.
Will my cost change as I add more AI tools or increase usage?
No. This listing has a single free dimension with no usage-based charges. Adding more connected AI tools or increasing activity does not create a charge on AWS Marketplace. There are no thresholds, tiers, or overage points that trigger a cost.

"# Connecting to Asana's MCP Server
The Asana MCP server is available at:
<https://mcp.asana.com/sse>
This server requires authentication with your Asana account. When connecting, you will be prompted to authorize the application to access your Asana data.
🔒 Allowlist
Due to the implementation of an OAuth redirect URI allowlist, some third-party applications might require additional configuration or registration of their redirect URI with Asana Support before a successful connection can be established. If you’re a maintainer of an MCP client, see Integrating with Asana’s MCP Server for details on how to register.
Available tools
Asana’s MCP server includes 30+ tools for:
Project tracking and status updates
Task creation and management
User information
Getting updates on Goals
Team organization
Quick Asana object searching via typeahead
Troubleshooting
If authentication fails, try logging out of your Asana account and logging back in.
If that does not address the issue or you see a ""Client not found"" error, try removing the Asana MCP integration within your client and adding it back.
Ensure your MCP client supports SSE-based servers (not Streamable HTTP)
If you’re still not able to connect or are seeing an invalid_redirect_uri error,
reach out to the maintainer of the tool you're using or see Integrating with Asana’s MCP Server
Check that your client can handle OAuth authentication flows
Verify you have the necessary permissions in your Asana workspace

Asana Keeps Our Organization Aligned with a Clean UI and Time-Saving AI Search

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps our team stay organized across the whole organisation. It has a clean UI that each user can tailor to their needs, supporting different ways of working. We’ve connected all our Google accounts to it, which makes collaboration even smoother.
So far, we haven’t experienced any major outages or unavailability, and we haven’t had to use any of the support offerings, which is a nice bonus. The newest AI features are also a big relief for the team, since tasks and projects can be searched quickly for specific details, and you can get a fast summary of projects without having to dig through everything.
Overall, I’d say it’s absolutely worth the money and has helped us over the years tick all the boxes while continuing to grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana offers a lot of different functions, it can feel overwhelming at first. We’ve noticed that new team members often struggle to move beyond the surface-level features and need some time to get comfortable with the tool.
From a structural perspective, certain setups are also tricky to build. You have to be fairly handy to find good workarounds, but so far we’ve still been able to accomplish everything we needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a CEO and business owner, I want to make sure all departments and teams are running at full speed and that nothing gets overlooked. That’s exactly what Asana does for us.
With Asana, all tasks and projects are tracked and executed in a clear, organized way. If something isn’t moving as expected, we can spot it right away and take action.
It has helped us build accountability and transparency across the company. Every employee knows what they need to do, and by when.
