This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for on-going LTS security updates by CIQ to backport security fixes which would otherwise not be available from the community, and for access to CIQ support for basic support engagements via email or ticket. Â Â
Rocky Linux with Long Term Support from CIQ provides you the confidence you need to keep your infrastructure compliant and secure with backported security patches for even-numbered point releases after they have reached community EOL. Rocky Linux LTS from CIQ covers both kernel and userspace vulnerabilities. Rocky Linux from CIQ 9.4 LTS will receive updates from CIQ through June 2026. Â Â
Packages with security issues marked as Important or Critical may be eligible for backports. Generally, this applies to packages with a CVSS score of 7.0 or higher. Other security-related backports and bug fixes are at CIQ discretion. Review our CVE Dashboard under Learning Resources for a transparent view of available fixes. Â Â

Usage instructions
Connect to the instance using SSH. Use the following information to connect to the instance: User: rocky IP address: use the public IP address of the instance For example: $ ssh -i ./ssh-key-yyyy-mm-dd.key rocky@IPAddress When you are logged in as the rocky user, you can use the sudo command to run administrative tasks. The firewall is enabled by default with only port 22 open.
