Overview
Secured version of Kurian Java Machine with OpenJDK LTS version 17. An Eclipse Temurin build is preinstalled on this AMI and JAVA_HOME points to the install location.
Kurian has released pre-configured software applications such as Wordpress, Jenkins, databases, LAMP stack, Ansible, DevOps tools, and monitoring applications that are widely used by system administrators and DevOps engineers. For selected Linux distributions hardened images based on CIS benchmark are also available. The Kurian AMIs are built following official installation steps so you do not need to learn any custom procedures if additional configurations need to be done.

Secured version of Kurian Java Machine with OpenJDK LTS version 17.0.5_8, an Eclipse Temurin build. Multiple versions of Java on the original AMI are replaced with only OpenJDK 17 LTS version.

Usage instructions
- Use the system variable JAVA_HOME for the install location of JDK.
- The installed version of Java is in the system path. Run java -version for the version info.
