In the AmiVoice Cloud Platform, high-performance speech to text (voice recognition) can be embedded in applications in the programming language of your choice, without the need for specialized knowledge in machine learning. In addition to speech-to-text conversion and voice input, speech sentiment analysis functions can also be easily implemented.
Highlights
Constantly updated with automatic learning : General_engines is constantly updated to the latest version through an automatic learning system (ATS). It also recognizes new words that have recently appeared.
Engines that can be selected according to industry and application : In addition to General_engines that can be used in a variety of situations and businesses, we offer engines specialized for specialized terms and industry terms, such as in the medical field. By selecting the engine that best suits the usage scenario, the recognition rate can be greatly improved.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay by usage, measured in 1000-second blocks of recognized speech. Only detected spoken segments are billed, not silence. Dimensions split by engine type: General, Medical, Domain specific, plus a Sentiment analysis add-on. Each engine offers two data-handling options. Logging lets the vendor retain audio for research and quality work at a lower rate. No logging keeps audio and results out of storage. General engines also come in an Asynchronous variant for batch processing of long files, again in logging and no-logging forms. You mix and match the engine and handling option you need.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts toward a 1000-second billing block?
Only detected spoken segments count, measured from each utterance's start to end time. Silence, hold music, and most background noise do not accrue charges. Announcement guidance recognized as human speech does count. There is no minimum charge per request, so short clips bill only for actual speech duration.
How do the standard General engines differ from the General engines (Asynchronous) dimensions?
Standard General engines handle real-time or short-clip recognition through WebSocket or synchronous HTTP. The Asynchronous variant processes long recorded files as batch jobs, accepting larger uploads. Both bill per 1000 seconds of recognized speech. Choose the standard variant for live streams, the Asynchronous variant for bulk file transcription.
Can I use several engine and logging dimensions together under one account?
Yes. Each engine and data-handling option bills independently by usage. You can send audio to General, Medical, Domain specific, or Sentiment analysis as needed. Each dimension meters its own recognized-speech seconds, and the charges appear separately. You specify which engine handles each request.
