- Description
- Folder contains the terms of use, paper, and zip file of data in COOC format. Each kernel is annotated with an instance mask and appropriate class. The dataset is broken into three subcomponents. The "base" (i.e. "corn") subset contains images from a wide variety of domains such as those you might find on the internet. The "narrow" subset contains images with a single ear as would be anticipated in the application. The "many" dataset resembles the base dataset but has a huge number of ears and kernels in each image. Images were annotated for (healthy) kernels, diseased kernels, “incomplete” (i.e. not fully matured) kernels, barren tips (i.e where the top of the ear does not produce kernels), and “kernel areas” where on-ear kernels were166present but resolution/lighting prevented annotation.

The weather plays a critical role in making or breaking a growing season. In this report, we look at both short-range and longer-range weather forecasts to help highlight weather concerns for the corn and soybean crops in both the United States and South America. Short-range forecast maps provide insight into the next couple weeks, while the text often discusses some longer-range trends as well as the current status of the crops’ conditions.

Agriculture parcels dataset is a perfect source for supervised classification exercise for agriculture areas. These data is manually digitized based on orthophoto as well as other sources. Each part of the land is updated regularly.

The Terra Basic Fusion dataset is a fused dataset of the original Level 1 radiances
from the five Terra instruments. They have been fully validate to contain the original
Terra instrument Level 1 data. Each Level 1 Terra Basic Fusion file contains one full
Terra orbit of data and is typically 15 – 40 GB in size, depending on how much data was
collected for that orbit. It contains instrument radiance in physical units; radiance
quality indicator; geolocation for each IFOV at its native resolution; sun-view geometry;
bservation time; and other attributes/metadata. It is stored in HDF5, conformed to CF
conventions, and accessible by netCDF-4 enhanced models. It’s naming convention
follows: TERRABFL1BOXXXXYYYYMMDDHHMMSSF000V000.h5. A concise description of the
dataset, along with links to complete documentation and available software tools, can
be found on the Terra Fusion project page: https://terrafusion.web.illinois.edu.
