NinjaOne is the unified IT operations platform that helps IT teams and managed service providers manage, secure, and support every endpoint from a single cloud-native console. Nearly 40,000 customers across 140+ countries use NinjaOne to replace fragmented point tools with one platform built to scale.

The platform brings together the core work of modern IT operations: endpoint management, autonomous patch management, vulnerability management, endpoint and SaaS backup, remote access, and IT service desk. Teams monitor and control Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile, and virtual devices in one place, automate routine work with policy-based automation and human-centered AI, and cut the cost and risk that come from running many disconnected tools.

NinjaOne serves internal IT teams and MSPs alike, from lean IT departments to mid-market and large enterprise organizations managing distributed, multi-site environments. Common uses include consolidating IT tooling, automating patching for security and compliance, managing distributed and hybrid workforces, improving endpoint visibility, and strengthening backup and ransomware readiness.

NinjaOne has maintained a 98 percent customer satisfaction score for more than five years, backed by free unlimited onboarding and 24/7 support in seven languages. Organizations that move to NinjaOne report replacing four or more separate tools with the single platform.

NinjaOne is FedRAMP Moderate Authorized and SOC 2 Type II and Type III compliant, and supports audit-ready compliance evidence across frameworks including CMMC, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.

The mission behind the platform is simple: unify IT to simplify work, giving IT teams better tools and employees a great technology experience at work.

Mobile device management is its own track, with a Core option and a Pro option that adds built-in remote access. You combine only the dimensions you need.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

Each dimension bills per device per year. A device is any single endpoint the agent installs on, such as a desktop, laptop, or server. Data Protection Workstation covers Windows or Mac desktops and laptops. Data Protection Servers covers machines running Microsoft Server OS. Each machine counts as one device.
Ninja Advanced covers inventory, monitoring, patch management, software deployment, automation, API access, and reporting. Ninja Advanced Pro adds remote access. Ninja Enterprise adds integration access and automated user provisioning via SCIM. Ninja Enterprise Pro combines both, adding remote access plus integrations and provisioning. You pick the one matching your needs.
Data Protection Workstation and Servers cover the devices you back up, billed per device per year. Cloud Storage is billed separately per terabyte, per device per year, using triple-redundant storage pooled at the partner level. Your bill adds the device protection charge and the storage charge together.

Centralized endpoint management has saved time and simplifies remote support and patching

    Reviewed on Oct 24, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for NinjaOne is remote monitoring and management for our client's endpoints. Day-to-day, I use it to keep an eye on device health, manage Windows updates and patching, remotely access client machines for troubleshooting, deploy software, and run scripts when I need to make changes across multiple devices or clients. It basically gives me one place to manage and support our client's endpoints without having to work on every machine individually.

One specific situation where NinjaOne helped me solve a problem is when a user has an issue with their computer or system laptop while working remotely. Instead of spending a lot of time going back and forth with the user, I can use NinjaOne to check the device status and remotely connect to it if needed, allowing me to troubleshoot the issue, run scripts, or make changes from one place. This makes the support process much quicker and easier, especially when managing users across different locations.

NinjaOne has become part of my regular IT workflow. I use it throughout the day to check the overall status of endpoints, handle updates remotely, support users or endpoint machines remotely, and take care of routine maintenance.

How has it helped my organization?

The biggest positive impact NinjaOne has had on my organization is making our endpoint management more efficient and easy. We have better visibility into our devices and can handle tasks such as patching, software deployment, remote support, and troubleshooting from one place. This reduces a lot of repetitive manual work since we can use scripts and automation for common tasks, ultimately helping my IT team respond to issues faster and manage our endpoints in a more consistent way.

While I don't track an exact percentage of time saved, I've definitely seen the difference in my day-to-day work. Tasks such as software deployment, patching, running scripts, and troubleshooting remotely can be handled without connecting to every machine individually. This means what might have required several manual steps before can now be handled centrally across multiple endpoints. The biggest measurable impact is a reduction in manual effort and faster response times when users have issues.

    What is most valuable?

Some of the best features NinjaOne offers include remote access, which I use regularly, patch management, software deployment, and scripting, along with some automation capabilities. I also appreciate the overall device monitoring because it gives me a quick view of what's happening with my client endpoints, allowing me to check devices and remotely troubleshoot from the same platform. The ability to run scripts across multiple machines saves me from doing the same task manually on each client endpoint.

One good example of how the automation capabilities have helped me is through software deployment or removal across multiple endpoints. If I need to install an application, remove an old version, or make configuration changes on several machines, I can automate that through NinjaOne instead of connecting to every device individually. I also use scripts for routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, which saves a lot of repetitive work and allows me to spend more time looking at machines that actually have issues.

Overall endpoint visibility is another strong feature, as I can monitor devices, check alerts, manage updates, and troubleshoot remotely from one place. When combined with scripting and automation features, it makes managing multiple endpoints much more efficient for me.

    What needs improvement?

One area where I think NinjaOne could improve is in reporting and customization. The platform gives me a lot of useful information, but sometimes I would appreciate more flexibility in how I customize reports and dashboards based on exactly what I want to monitor. I also think some of the more advanced automation and configuration options could be made a little easier to work with, although the product works well for me overall.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using NinjaOne for the past three to four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

NinjaOne is very stable. I can say this because I use it every day.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I think the scalability is good. As I add more endpoints, I can bring them into NinjaOne and manage them through the same console without changing the way I work.

How are customer service and support?

I'm pretty happy with the customer support because whenever I need any kind of support, they are always there to assist and provide good solutions whenever I require help. I would rate customer support an eight out of ten.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

NinjaOne was already being used when I started working with the environment. From my experience with it, having endpoint monitoring, patching, remote access, and software management has worked very well for my day-to-day IT operations.

    What was our ROI?

I would say I've definitely seen a return on investment through time saving and reducing manual work. While I don't have an exact dollar amount or percentage, tasks such as patching, software deployment, and remote troubleshooting are much more efficient for my team. Instead of working on devices one by one, I can manage many of those tasks centrally.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with the pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been pretty straightforward. The setup itself wasn't difficult since it's a cloud-based platform, and I mainly needed to get the agents deployed and configure things for my client's environment. From a licensing perspective, it's been manageable, and I think the value really comes from having monitoring, patching, remote support, and software management with automation all in a single platform.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

However, I think we were looking at ConnectWise Automate since it has similar features to NinjaOne.

What other advice do I have?

On a scale of one to ten, I would give NinjaOne a ten because I'm really impressed and happy with this product, which I use on a day-to-day basis.

I gave NinjaOne a ten mainly because it does what I need it to do really well on a daily basis. The biggest thing for me is having monitoring, remote access, patch management, and software deployment all in one place, which simplifies managing my client endpoints and saves me a lot of manual effort.

From a governance and security perspective, I'm comfortable with NinjaOne. Since it's an endpoint management platform, security is very important for me, especially around administrative access and device information. I believe there should always be proper access control and some level of human oversight before making important changes. Overall, I feel positive about the direction NinjaOne is heading, but I want to understand how the AI is using and protecting my data as those capabilities continue to grow.

Regarding the accuracy and reliability of NinjaOne's AI capabilities, I find them useful, but I treat the output as something that should be reviewed rather than blindly trusted. Especially in IT, if the AI is suggesting a script, troubleshooting step, or configuration change, I want to validate it before applying anything to the production endpoint. Overall, I have been comfortable with the reliability, but keeping a human involved is still very important.

I use NinjaOne as a cloud-based solution. I don't have to maintain NinjaOne infrastructure on-premises, and I can access the management console from anywhere when needed.

I am using NinjaOne, which is their own cloud provider. I don't use any specific cloud provider in-house.

My advice for others looking into using NinjaOne is to take some time in the beginning to properly set up your policies, patching, and automation instead of just using NinjaOne for remote access. There's a lot more value you can get from the platform once you start using scripting and automation for repetitive work. I also recommend testing changes on a small group of devices before rolling them out everywhere or on the production client environment, making it a very useful platform for managing endpoints across different locations.
