    Powerful but Could Be More Developer-Friendly

    What do you like best about the product?
    Sage Intacct is great for developers because of its solid API and easy integration options. The API is well-documented and structured, making it simple to connect with other apps and automate tasks. Pulling data and customizing reports is a breeze, which is super helpful for building custom financial workflows. Since it’s cloud-based, it’s scalable and gives real-time access to data, making development more efficient.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Some features require workarounds, and the documentation, while detailed, can sometimes be unclear or lack real-world examples. Debugging API issues can also be tricky since error messages aren’t always specific enough, and there aren’t enough logs to easily track issues. Additionally, the UI for admin tasks and setup isn’t the most intuitive, which can slow down configuration and testing. While it’s a strong platform overall, there’s room for improvement in making development and integration smoother.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    With the recent launch of its REST API, Sage Intacct has made integrations way easier and more modern. It simplifies data exchange, boosts automation, and makes building scalable financial solutions smoother. Developers no longer have to rely on outdated workarounds, and reporting, multi-entity management, and overall workflow automation are much more efficient now.

    What do you like best about the product?
    I enjoy the automation and integration capabilities of Sage.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    I do not dislike any part of Sage. It made the transition to a new software very easy.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    It is solving daily journal entry and bank account checking.

    What do you like best about the product?
    Intacct is a fantastic program for accountants. It helps maintain clean books and records. It's multiple features make it easy to duplicate entries, set up recurring entries, and pull up information for tax and compliance audits.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    To date, I have not found anything that I particularly dislike about Intacct.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Sage is solving the problem of the difficulty in finding a program for accountants that is easy to use and can be customized to each individual company's needs with it's many features.

    What do you like best about the product?
    I love using Sage Intacct for its user-friendly interface and efficiency in managing financial processes.It makes coding invoices and processing payments seamless,which helps keep everything organized and on track.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    The only thing I’d say negatively about Sage Intacct is that some processes feel a bit rigid, especially when making changes or corrections. It also takes a few extra steps for tasks, which can slow things down a bit.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Sage Intacct helps streamline financial tasks, like invoice coding and payments, saving time and reducing errors. It also gives better visibility into finances, making it easier to manage budgets and expenses, so I can focus on other important tasks. I also like the reports, but they could be more AI-friendly.

    What do you like best about the product?
    Previous systems did not have a Deferred Revenue module. Being able to have Deferred Revenue forecasts available at the touch of button has saved hours of work at Month End.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    The limitations of the Avalara Tax. The Tax calculations are not available in the Accounts Payable or the Credit Card Transaction modules. This makes reports incomplete. Would like something that covered ALL modules that deal with tax transactions.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Forecasting Revenue Recognition. Consolidations of companies from multiple international locations.
