Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for this hardened Debian 12 image, billed per running instance. Pricing follows the EC2 instance type you launch on. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS instance type, from small burstable options like t3.nano up to large memory, compute, storage, and GPU instances such as u7in-32tb.224xlarge or p5.48xlarge. Rates scale with instance size and family: larger vCPU, memory, and accelerator configurations carry higher hourly rates. You choose the instance type that fits your workload, and hourly charges accrue only while instances run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You get a Debian 12 virtual machine hardened against common cyber threats. It is configured to recognized secure standards to reduce system vulnerabilities. The image runs on the AWS EC2 instance type you select, giving you the same functionality as a physical computer without buying local hardware.
Hourly software charges accrue only while an instance runs. Stopped or paused instances do not accrue software charges. Underlying AWS storage or other resource fees may still apply while an instance is stopped, but the per-hour software meter counts running time only.
The billing method stays the same: you pay per running hour. Only the hourly rate changes. Larger instance types with more vCPU, memory, storage, or accelerators carry higher hourly rates. Smaller burstable types carry lower rates. You choose the type that fits your workload.
