Miro: A Great Design Tool - If You Are Using a Mac

    Reviewed on Feb 18, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
For me, the symbol system has saved the most time - I make a component and then reuse it as many times as possible. I can change all instances of it at the same time, rather than having to search for each instance individually. Honestly, I would be sad to lose the component/symbol workflow (and the plugins) if I moved away from using Miro. In addition to the component/symbols workflow, the number of available plugins is huge - if there isn’t a basic function you want the tool to perform, there’s likely a third-party plugin that will allow you to do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is only available for Macs. Since our development team uses PCs, they are unable to use Miro, which creates significant issues when a client or new employee comes onto the team who uses a PC. The prototype function is very limited compared to other tools such as Figma and Xd, and it’s not where Miro excels. Large file sizes with complex graphics can become slow while you’re in the middle of a workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Miro, we were struggling with Adobe design tools that were simply never designed for UI/UX work. Miro allows us to bypass much of the frustration involved in creating prototypes and handing them off to developers - Miro enables rapid creation of prototypes, clear handoffs to developers and eliminates the need to employ a full-time designer to create a presentable mockup.

Sticky Notes and Arrows Make Workflow Mapping Crystal Clear

    Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like the sticky note and arrow feature. It is great for creating clear workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish when I selected a background everything on the background moved with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is essentially providing a whiteboard on the web that my whole team can work on and visualize. It's great for spewing ideas onto the workspace and then organizing the thoughts.

    Customizable Diagrams, Easy Interface

    Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to create process flow diagrams at work. I enjoy the option to use basic symbols to quickly create a flow chart and appreciate that there's an option to customize the symbols, which makes it nicer. I like the option to add colors and other customization features. The easy interface also makes it pleasant to work with Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more symbols for Azure and Google, similar to what's provided by Lucidchart. Azure/Google specific symbols make it very clear on which provider is used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for creating process flow diagrams at work. It lets me quickly create flowcharts with basic symbols and customize them, which is nice.

Easy Idea Mapping and Presentation, with Room to Grow

    Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Easy way to organize thoughts and plan workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had licensing issues where I'm constantly having to figure out which one I'm using and then will get blocked halfway through a project because I don't have the same permissions across both.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creates visual to allow for project plans and ideal account workflows

Miro’s Infinite Canvas Turns Brainstorms into a Real-Time Source of Truth

    Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is its infinite, frictionless canvas. It transforms a fragmented digital workspace into a single "source of truth" where you can transition seamlessly from messy brainstorming with sticky notes to structured project mapping and high-level presentations—all in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation Quirks: Switching between "select" mode and "hand" (pan) mode is a constant dance. If you forget which one you're in, you’ll likely drag an entire flowchart across the screen by mistake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It acts as a centralized source of truth. You can embed live Jira cards, Google Docs, and Figma designs all on one board, ensuring everyone is looking at the same data without tool-hopping.
