Each license maps to one paid member. A member consumes a paid seat and has full access to create their own boards and content. Guests and visitors do not consume a paid seat: guests need a free account and get limited access, while visitors join boards through a shared public link.
Adding a member mid-cycle is prorated, so you pay only for the days remaining in your billing period. Removing a member takes effect at renewal, not immediately. To reduce seats, make the change before your renewal date.
Credits power the AI suite and are pooled across your organization, consumed per AI action. The credit count scales with your seat count. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Admins can monitor usage. If you need more, additional credit packages are available for purchase.

Miro’s AI Clustering & Summaries Make Workshop Planning Effortless

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to prepare project planning sessions and design workshops, and the AI features on sticky notes have been the most helpful. After a brainstorm, I can select a pile of stickies and use Cluster to group them by keyword or theme. Then Summary turns them into a short write-up of what the group came up with. That saves me from sorting and writing notes by hand after every session. Templates for things like sprint planning and journey maps also mean I'm not building a workshop board from scratch each time.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a designer, my biggest frustration is that Miro sits outside the Figma workflow. When a workshop or planning session turns into actual design work, I can't copy content straight into my Figma files, so I end up rebuilding or screenshotting it. It also means asking stakeholders to sign in to yet another tool. Large boards can also get slow once they fill up with images and PDFs, which is distracting when I'm running a live session. A closer Figma integration and better performance on large boards would make a big difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Miro, workshop and planning input was scattered across slides, docs and chat threads. Now the team adds ideas to one shared board, and I can group and summarize them right after the session. That makes it faster to agree on direction and move into design work.

Great Template Library and Smooth Browser Use for Collaborative Meetings

What do you like best about the product?
Watching live cursors while someone is dragging a sticker across the screen in an open meeting is a lot better than the deafening silence that typically occurs while reviewing a document. The template library is great; they provide many options for templates, and not fillers. We have used both the retro and user journey templates regularly as opposed to creating new boards from scratch. No issues running in the web browser, didn’t have to fight with our IT department to get Miro installed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Boards tend to perform slowly when they are large (e.g., we have one large planning board that has multiple layers of plans and ideas — it takes several seconds to scroll through), and occasionally boards have failed to render certain aspects, and required me to restart them. As well, although free, the number of editable boards is limited to three (which means once you’ve reached your limit, previous boards are essentially read-only) and we have found archiving and replacing old boards to be a very painful process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of sending photos of what was drawn on a whiteboard via email, Miro provides a collaborative space that allows teams to visually map out ideas, brainstorm, conduct retros, create process maps and architectural drawings — whatever type of information does not easily fit into a documentation format or ticket tracking system. Team members at different locations or times can collaborate by adding items to the board — rather than losing these items once the whiteboard is wiped clean.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Miro is how easy it makes brainstorming, planning, and collaborating with a team. The visual whiteboard helps organize ideas, create workflows, and explain complex concepts in a simple way. I also like that multiple team members can work on the same board in real time, making discussions and project planning more productive. Overall, it’s a user-friendly tool that keeps ideas organized and makes teamwork easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Miro is a great tool for collaboration and brainstorming. One area for improvement is that some advanced features can take time to understand, especially for new users. Also, boards with a lot of content can sometimes feel cluttered. A simpler onboarding experience and better performance on larger boards would make the overall experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me organize ideas, plan projects, and collaborate with team members in one place. Instead of going back and forth between different tools or long discussions, I can use visual boards to share ideas, map out workflows, and keep everyone on the same page. It saves time, improves communication, and makes brainstorming and project planning much easier and more effective.

What do you like best about the product?
The main thing that I like about Miro is the combination of collaboration, creation, and productivity within a single app. Being a developer, marketing strategist, and business developer, I use Miro actively when working in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, planning and organizing the ideas. We work with this app for quite a while already and now it is an integral part of our work process. I also enjoy some nice features such as Miro Sidekick and other tools that make collaboration easier and more productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Miro is an outstanding collaboration tool, managing larger and more complex boards can sometimes become challenging, especially when I’m involved in many projects at once and multiple people are working together. Also, some additional functions take a bit of time for a beginner to master. Still, these are minor issues and they don’t affect the application’s overall performance.

The software offers a solid solution for organizing communication, collaboration, and project planning across different teams and workflows. As a developer, marketer, and business developer, I use it to run meetings, brainstorm ideas, map out strategies, plan projects, and turn discussions into clear, actionable next steps. It reduces scattered, disorganized communication and helps keep everyone aligned, regardless of the type of expertise needed.
