Great for Organizing Ideas, but Board Creation Feels Time-Consuming

    Reviewed on Jul 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Miro streamlines how we communicate complex concepts to stakeholders. Its layout capabilities keep ideas noticeably more organized than competing platforms, and the ability to link out to related assets ensures all context is easily accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro's mapping features are top-tier, the overall user experience could be smoother. Building a visually polished board is time-consuming because there are no snap-to-grid alignment tools to keep layouts consistent. Additionally, for Microsoft-heavy environments, it feels too siloed as a standalone app. Because integration with our existing stack is limited, we often fall back on Microsoft Visio or PowerPoint to tell visual stories—even if they aren't ideal mapping tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As part of the campaigns team, we orchestrate complex, multichannel strategies that require clear alignment from concept to execution. Miro solves the challenge of turning high-level brainstorming into actionable execution. It acts as our launchpad: we use mind maps to flesh out raw ideas into concrete strategic steps before transitioning to tools like Word or PowerPoint for final messaging. Being able to map out our entire strategy visually gives us the clarity we need to make confident decisions.

Miro Makes Product Flows and Technical Diagrams Easy to Evolve

    Reviewed on Jul 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Our team is responsible for improving product experiences by understanding how different features behave from both technical and user perspectives. Before we started using Miro, representing these product interactions usually meant creating static workflows and schematics that were hard to update as the product evolved. Miro has changed that by giving us a flexible workspace where we can build, refine, and expand product flows and technical diagrams without having to start from scratch each time. The ability to organize information in multiple formats also makes our product analysis much more effective, since we can work through complex scenarios in the way that best fits each project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the workspace flexibility is great, I think adding more built-in visual indicators for key decision points would make large product diagrams even easier to understand at a glance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes the often arduous task of understanding and communicating complex product behaviour easier by offering a flexible workspace where flows and improvement opportunities can be explored, refined, and communicated clearly.

Real-Time Collaboration, MCP improvements and visual helper

    Reviewed on Jul 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
being able to collaborate in real time and UX. Jira integration as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
MCP server could be better, as it now produces simple diagrams and isn't very smart. With AI becoming more essential in daily workflows, I think this would be handy. Also, other AI features seem too expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online meetings brainstorming space. Also, visualising software in order to understand and ideate on different concepts. Visualising calendar schedules and onboarding new team members as well.

Simple, Intuitive Miro Boards for Sprint Planning and Clear Technical Flows

    Reviewed on Jul 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Our team and I use Miro a lot for spring planning, Retrospective meetings and to build solutions flows before implementation. The miro UI is really sim ple and intuitive to use on a daily basis. Miro flows makes the task of explaining technical flows easier and elegant in a presentation or to anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside i see is the internet requirement 24x7 to access the boards, Since we would like to access boards offline too sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro everywhere from brainstorming ideas, to explain business logic or planning our spring and even to draw architecture diagrams to represent our business processes. Most importantly the collaborative settings that enable us to share spaces in real time. This definitely increases our productivity in forming ideas. Definitely more reliable in performance and stability than other boards.
