AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a single pricing dimension based on usage credits, sold in blocks of 10 credits per unit. You buy credits under a contract and draw them down as you protect workloads. Because pricing is consumption-based, you pay according to how much you use. To scale up, you add more credit units. This model lets you spread coverage across supported cloud-native apps, databases, and data lakes without provisioning separate line items for each workload type. Credits give you one flexible currency to allocate across your data protection needs as they change.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one credit unit map to when I protect a workload?
Each unit gives you 10 usage credits. Credits are a shared currency you draw down as you protect workloads like cloud-native apps, databases, and data lakes. The exact credit cost per workload depends on the amount of data and services protected. Contact Commvault to confirm consumption rates for your specific workloads.
How does my credit consumption change as my protected data grows?
This model is consumption-based, so credits draw down according to how much you protect. As data volumes or workloads grow, you consume credits faster. When your balance runs low, you add more credit units to continue coverage. You are not locked into separate line items per workload type.
Does one pool of credits cover all my different supported workloads?
Yes. Credits act as one flexible currency you allocate across supported workloads, including cloud-native apps, databases, and data lakes. You do not buy separate quantities for each workload type. This lets you shift coverage as your protection needs change without provisioning distinct billing items.
