CompAnalyst Plus Max by Salary.com gives HR, comp, and finance leaders one platform to benchmark 20,000+ roles, build composite salary structures from verified data, detect pay gaps, and generate audit-ready reports with real-time market intelligence and expert support included.
CompAnalyst Plus Max is a full-lifecycle compensation intelligence platform that gives HR, Total Rewards, and finance teams one place to benchmark roles, build composite salary structures, detect pay gaps, and generate audit-ready reports, powered by 100 percent HR-reported data, real-time market signals, and domain-trained AI.
Most organizations piece together this work across disconnected tools. CompAnalyst Plus Max replaces that with a single integrated workflow from initial job pricing through structure design, pay equity analysis, and executive reporting, so compensation decisions are faster, more defensible, and trusted by more than 10,000 organizations worldwide.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy this product under a contract, priced by your company size measured in full-time employees (FTE). Four brackets set your tier: fewer than 250 FTE, 250 to 500 FTE, 500 to 1,000 FTE, and more than 1,000 FTE. You pick the bracket that matches your headcount, and the price scales up as your employee count grows. The dimensions are mutually exclusive — you fall into one bracket, not several. This structure ties your cost to organization size rather than usage volume or number of user seats.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one full-time employee (FTE) for choosing my pricing bracket?
Your bracket reflects your organization's total headcount of full-time employees. You count all FTEs across your company, then pick the range that matches: under 250, 250 to 500, 500 to 1,000, or over 1,000. This is a company-wide count, not a count of software users or logins.
What happens if our headcount grows past our current FTE bracket during the contract?
Pricing brackets are mutually exclusive, so growing into a higher range means your tier changes accordingly. The FTE count determines which single bracket applies. If your headcount crosses a boundary, contact the vendor to confirm how and when the bracket change takes effect for your contract.
Does the FTE bracket price cover all CompAnalyst Max capabilities, or are features billed separately?
Your contract price is set by your FTE bracket, not by individual features. The platform includes job pricing, salary structures, reporting, market pricing with AI-guided matching, and pay equity workflows. Cost ties to company size rather than per-feature or per-seat charges.

We use it for comp analysis. It is really great because you can create a custom scope of the info on your company (size, industry, location, etc.) that makes it fast to find the exact comp range for the position you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be a bit more user friendly. If you are reviewing multiple positions and need to change something (like how many direct reports) it makes you do it per position and not for the search overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to pull comp analysis really fast while being customizable and providing small job descriptions to help compare.
