m1.small Windows instance from Amazon market place
This on demand instance comes with a 30 GB AMI preconfigured with Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2012 Express edition. IIS was not installed, I just did it.
The annoying thing is the AMI comes with default 30 GB disk space and only 4.9 GB of free space is available. As per the m1.small instance specification, the disk space offered is 160 GB. I have searched Amazon forums and other pages from net and finally got a good blog on how to resize the instance space.

If I shutdown/restart the instance, I need to assign the elastic IP address each time (not a big deal anyway).
Amazon has to provide a good documentation on how to do the things like disk resize. This will help a new user migrating to AWS.
