This product has a great feature that allows advanced routing and firewall protection with remote access. This product is in the beginning stages of being tested, so my experience is very limited by I would highly recommend this product for any user to purchase.

The Brocade Vyatta vRouter delivers advanced routing, firewall and VPN in a cloud-ready, software appliance. Much more than a simple gateway or firewall solution, Vyatta will cut operating expenses by providing new options for architecting your traffic. With Vyatta you can reduce latency and save money by routing traffic directly from VPC to VPC, stop paying for multiple AWS VPN Gateways by terminating multiple VPN tunnels in Vyatta, and use Vyatta for secure remote access and Layer-2 cloud bridging.
Personal feedback - it is recommended for regular use.
Works well
No complaints so far. It doesn't seem completely necessary for all AWS users, but I can think of some example businesses/setups that could certainly use the product.
Great!
I found everything fairly easy to set up and was very happy to try the service on a free trial. I was most happy that it can be run on a small instance to save on long term costs.
Absolutely unusable
I never seen commercial product that bad.
Full of bugs, unstable with non existing vendor support. It fails without warning and not able to to boot after fail. And If FW fails to boot, there is no way to recover config from it without contacting AWS support. Stay away from this product.

Extremely useful
Our use case is quite extensive and involves a number of features of this product. The documentation is very good, but we did need some tech support. They were helpful and knowledgeable and responded in a very timely manner. Our business model simply wouldn't have been possible without a product like this - it was a life saver! We would gladly recommend this to anyone in need of robust and flexible network solutions in the cloud.
