What do you like best about the product?
In toad we can connect to any PROD & NON PROD databases.
We can easily add space , datafiles to the particular tablespace.
We can easily do any activity like updating or deleting anything on servers.

It takes a lot of time for login.
Whenever we open multiple sessions for different database, then it's performance is affected.

It enables us to easily solve maximum number of problems on database and it is also an easy to use software.

Best tool to manage and query Databases
What do you like best about the product?
It can support mutiple databses types like IBM DB2, oracle db, cybase, etc. Also load with so many features like schema change, and easy to switch to other db and query and get data and export into various formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slower when query to legacy db like cybase
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generally database management like create table, stored proceders, index and cursor and also easy to compare multiple data in output and export in various formats.
Best application IDE for Oracle
What do you like best about the product?
TOAD is much faster when compared to other IDEs while running huge and complex queries and it retrieved results in much faster time
What do you dislike about the product?
It consumes a lot of memory and gets stuck sometimes

Toad for oracle is helpful while doing daily tasks as part of my job
Great client for connecting to your Oracle databases , easy to use GUI and UI

It allowed me to add all my databases and instances for the Oracle estate to the TOAD interface for reliable and fast connectivity. I can do many tasks so much quicker than with the command line interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost for the licenses must be taken into the equation is you wish to roll-out to a large team etc..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To allow easy connectivity to the Oracle database estate and provide many features that make my day to day support of the databases that much easier.

It's very easy to use the ui is so user friendly, all options are available hand, the shortcuts areoat useful which can be customised

It doesn't display the hirerarchy and user details, db details in a tree graph

It solves querying issue, and just normal as oracle sp developer
Perfect tool for oracle databases
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Toad for 2 years now and I am impressed with the options we have in this tool. It is an easy to use tool for running Oracle PL/SQL queries, procedures, view various schemas and underlying objects in your database, debug your scripts and so much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it freezes very bad and takes a hell lot of time to recover. Might be just an issue for me given the staorage issues on my machine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am continuously working on oracle database in my application and executing multiple select queries, writing pl/sql procedures and packages every day, so yeah it is something I use almost everyday and helping me carry on all these activities seamlessly.

It organizes data effectively. Easy to manage data.

So far it helped be better than the other ways to manage my database.

Toad is a great tool for working on database
What do you like best about the product?
It provide wide range of options to perform on any database. From running a simple sql query to the complex PL/SQL blocks. It provides session browser to track the sessions which are active.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is little bit complex as at the top you see lot of options and it becomes difficult to work on a screen with small size. So for using toad I'll recommend big screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Toad provides a interface to query the data from database and perform various operations on data either by using query editor or using schema browser. It also gives ability to monitor the active sessions and the transactions performed by the users.

What do you like best about the product?
This, in my opinion, is the easiest tool to use for someone who needs database access and isn't primarily a database developer.Ease of use includig the graphic interphase can't be beat. No need to write SQL statements
What do you dislike about the product?
It may have too many features for non developers and hence the license costs. Organizations are reluctant to spend to equip the non database developers with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Given the graphic interphase plus auto created database operations (Select, insert, delete and update) this is the best tool I've used for people with limited database skills. So easy to use there is no need for support

It helps to connect to oracle databases as many as we required.
It gives a proper view of a SQL query, unlike other DB tools which does not provide a view, toad helps in searching, substituting a field in where block and so on.
It also helps in extracting of records in large numbers to XML files and other supported formats.
The view and the time taken to execute helps us to improve the performances and it also shows the error as and when the format/syntax becomes incorrect, which helps us as software developers.

User experience can be improved as other types of databases such as PLSQL have their user interfaces maintained well.
Importing data into tables is time consuming, i think it can also be improved.
While in citrix, application connecting to database requires lot of study in order to connect via firwall and so on.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Toad to connect, analyse, debug, construct SQL and other db operations towards databases as part of our application used in our organization.
It helps us to export tables data, while running a native query it allows to substitute parameters in flower brackets inside query that helps to test query without much changes to sql.
