Don't buy this unless you are capable of installing and managing a server (and reading instructions). If you are, then the AWS side of it is fine. Plesk is a little clunky at times but generally an easy option for managing your server, so long as you understand what's happening behind the scenes and why.

Now the issues:

1. The WordPress Toolkit is useless. You will need to manage your WP sites manually. It's buggy, inconsistent and clunky.

2. The real pain for me is that it's not possible to take a snapshot of an instance running this image, mount it as a volume and attach that to another instance. My DRP relies on this - if the production server becomes unresponsive I want to be able to mount the automated backup snapshots and find out what happened. I put a ticket in for this and haven't had a response.

Next time I'll just do the whole install myself from scratch and put Plesk on top, this AMI has been a frustrating waste of time.

The guide book of the setting isn't enough.
The problem about the IP setting by AWS which was in the old guide of Plesk v.11 in the past exists in this v.12, too, but not to be guided, it can not operate normally in the AWS instance.
