Akeneo definitely is the solution for product experience strategy
What do you like best about the product?
Akeneo provides one stop shop to provide global product experience management capabilities compirsing PIM and DAM. In addition Akeneo could help in experiential commerce through radical experimentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about Akeneo, however I believe Akeneo would need to invest on educating business stakeholders on the benefit of knowledge leaders and expertise in product experience management to their business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Akeneo helps with products specific to vehicle features subscritions, branded goods and accessiories. However there is huge potential to leverage as a global PIM for all the vehicle usecases.

akeneo is a great tool, with a lot of improvement potential
What do you like best about the product?
akeneo made it possible to manage our catalog, which has millions of products, in an easier, faster and centralized way. One of the features that greatly added to the customer experience was the creation of product matrices with more than one variation. Previously, our matrices were only of color, currently we are able to make matrices of color and size, color and voltage, among others...all of this was made possible by akeneo. I really like the akeneo interface, dinosaurs are very cute!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to download more information about the products, such as completeness. This way I would be able to create specific actions for a group of products with low completeness.
I would also like there to be panels with more visualization possibilities, for example "how many times this attribute was filled in a certain family". I think that the existing panels provide us with little information and are not flexible for the user. Currently, no one on my team can view and use the "process tracker" filters, as we work with several users at the same time, it is important for us to monitor the processes in progress

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketplace, we work with two types of products, 1P and 3P, which enter through different channels. Akeneo enabled the centralized management of 1P and 3P product data. In this way, we can carry out improvement actions for the products in a single tool, not two, which increases the productivity of our team. Access to product information, such as attributes and families, is effortless in Akeneo, which allows you to manage the catalog more easily. The rules are handy because we can quickly categorize and enrich thousands of products. Creating Matrixes with multiple variations also helped us improve the customer experience.
One of the cleanest, most robust & most well-supported solutions out there for centralizing content
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is robust, well laid out and well maintained. Support is readily available and generally very helpful. The graphical user interface is especially helpful and there's good attention paid to compatibility across a great number of ecommerce platforms and beyond.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be a bit steep if you want to move beyond basic functionality and don't have previous experience with Python and its related tools. More complex product configurations and datasets can require quite a bit of finessing to get right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a huge, continuously growing catalog of products with a wide range of specifications, and many hands involved in the sales/rental process. Having a single, maintainable source of truth is of critical importance.
Modern and intuitive product information management software
What do you like best about the product?
Interface is modern and clean which helps drive user adoption and quick onboarding of the platform. Platform is powerful and can be configured mostly through the user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Has a unique product hierarchy structure which makes sense from a product perspective but limits the ability to handle any other edge-cases. Also some restrictive design choices may force a convoluted workflow if the action is not available out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing and modularizing product information and to facilitate the syndication of data to external platforms. To also help automate data sheet documentation generation.
One Place for all Catalog Data
What do you like best about the product?
Akeneo is a platform that can integrate easily with almost every eCommerce Platform without minimum code customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is getting little complicated when need to do any catalog attribute-related customization. ie. Modify values when it goes to any third party.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Akeneo, we will have now only one source of truth of all catalog.
A great solution for managing product portfolio
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of managing my product catalogue has never been easier. It's user-friendly, easy to navigate around and also convenient for implementing coding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a while to load, especially if using VPN.

PIM helps me manage and update product attributes with ease.

I love the ease of adoption, the e-commerce mindset of the platform and the composable aspect with lots of apps to do translation, AI and more

I don't really know. Maybe the segmentation for multi brand in the same platform

Product creation, product enrichment, marketplaces syndication, print generation.
Easy to start using, extremely powerful if you know your way around it
What do you like best about the product?
Akeneo is very easy to start using, not only for us as partners but also for our customers. The bare minimum for e-commerce can be done quickly. However once you do a deep dive in the different features and possibilities you can really take it to the next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
The large gap in pricing between the different versions of Akeneo. It's not always easy to convince the customers of the advantages of the enterprise edition because of the pricing difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing and enriching products. We make heavy use of the rules to automate processes like importing and assigning images to the right products. Creating associations for upselling or cross selling and managing them in Akeneo. Variants.

What do you like best about the product?
Akeneo doesn't just make the product experience better, it also a provides a lot of satisfaction during the enrichment in a great UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
It might be hard for some people to get their heads around setting up correct product architectures and keeping productmodels as abstract as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized product data management, visual insights on procuct completeness and quality, possibility to differentiate product data for individual endpoints.

What do you like best about the product?
Akeneo PIM helps companies to bring product experience startegy to business. Having a global PIM alongwith Global Digital Assset Management (DAM) provides omnichannel product experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike aboit product as such, however Akeneo could help to maKe companies awareness on the need of product experience to add busines value and simplify the tech landscape.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Akeneo currently used as product catalogs vehicle subscriptions, branded goods. There is an opportunuity to leverage Akeneo as global product catalog across the omnichannel including web portal, commerce and market places.
